Jimmiy's only joking, but I love that moment when he singles out members of the audience and he makes them think about things they never thought about before or the look on the other partners' faces when they realize their other half is possibly thinking about things they never wanted them to think about LOL.

As an introvert with autism, being singled out by a comedian is torture, it's happened a few times. I was with a girl and somehow ended up front row seats, and the guy was like, is this your girlfriend, I say early days. He says, oh nice.. blah blah.... And the room starts spinning, I go red, wish the floor swallowed me up, start thinking about running for the door. The girl was fine though, how can people deal with this spotlight and smile???

I loved Carlin, but if I watch any of his stuff again, for me personally it's interesting, smart, philosophical and a bit funny, but not laugh out loud funny. Jimmy is laugh out loud funny, so for my personal taste I have to say yes, Jimmy is the better commedian.

For someone to be in "ghost" mode there physical body would be dead but their spirit/soul (the immaterial part of a person, that some people call ghosts, as opposed to angels and demons) would be very much alive.
