Silent Revolution I actually almost died because of an undiagnosed coeliac disease. You can get blood tests done which show the antibodies your body produces when you consume gluten as a coeliac. It causes an autoimmune reaction destroying the villi in your intestines making you unable to take up nutrients and basically starving you to death if you continue eating gluten. So no, coeliac disease is not a myth but avoiding gluten if you are healthy has no proven benefits.

it is both an ethnic group and a nationality. for example, let's say a person is of Mexican descent but was born and raised in Germany, therefore their ethnic group would be Mexican and their nationality would be German. Please do not talk about things you obviously know little about.

VivaLaVida You are absolutely right. I don't know where Guillermo is from that he has never seen redheads there, but I'm from Chihuahua and I know many people who look like the guy in this video. There also are many people who are blonde, blue or green-eyed, and all shades of beige. There aren't many black people in north México, but in the south there are plenty. Most of us are mestizo and come in all shapes, sizes, and hair, eye, and skin colors. My brothers and sons, for example, are all 6 ft tall.

Most red headed Mexicans are actually of Basque ancestry. I know since my dad is a redheaded Mexican, I had a DNA test done and my paternal side was mostly Basque/Spanish.

What makes you say that? Most European cuisines with a tradition of baking have a version of apple pie (to give just two examples, apfelstrudel and tarte tatin). The English version is specifically "Bramley apple pie". Besides, I prefer crumble :P At best, we can say it's "not American" because there were definitely apple pies being made in Europe before America was colonised. But apple pie is still a huge part of American cuisine and their national identity, a bit like how curry is a big part of British cuisine and identity, but clearly didn't originate in the UK.

there are people in Mexico with red hair. It's very common but usually when there's a Mexican with red hair, they have a darker shade of the color and it makes it seems brown unless you're up close and personal.
