People truly don't understand the depth of impact teachers make, good or bad. I still remember every single teacher I've had, the bad ones stand out, but the ones I loved and who were kind and took their time with me and other students, they are a light in your mind that never goes away. One of my teachers doesn't know it, but she's my password on my computer. That's how much she impacted me. I love how this show shines a light on and helps teachers, too; their job is not easy, especially when too many schools go without the funding they deserve, and teachers go without the pay they deserve.

From "He got money" to Buzzfeed to Black Lady Sketch Show to her own show, I continue to be such a big fan of Quinta! Her continued success is so inspiring and I am so glad that the show is receiving praise while it continues to debut! UPDATE: I will never NOT be moved by seeing folks be so excited to see their favorite teachers. I still remember 2 of my my favorite teachers from 4th grade and 6th grade.

Lemme tell you…I’m tight right now because I’m so happy! Jimmy brings Quinta on his show, highly rates hers, finds Quinta’s sixth-grade teacher (whom ABBOTT ELEMENTARY was named after)…and actually sends her on a first-class trip to celebrate both her retirement and being the show’s namesake! I will write this a million times I met Quinta in 9th grade she was in 11th and she was my step team captain and the only person who was oh so nice to me as a incoming student! She is as nice and as wonderful as she seems! Proud of you QBZ❣️

This show is freaking hilarious. My mother is a retired elementary school teacher of 30+ years and when I tell you everything that happens in this show is exactly what happens in the urban public school system I MEAN IT 😂 the whole cast is so funny and talented, if you ain’t seen it you’re missing out. Got my mom and some friends addicted to it. We have watch parties every Tuesday at my house . Don’t let this show flop y’all we need multiple more seasons. Tuesday nights just got a whole lot funnier with Abbott📚✏️✂️

I love Quinta, and like many here have said, I've followed her since early Buzzfeed times, so I knew Abbot Elementary would be good, but whew! I agree, we need multiple seasons. Also, don't sleep on those child actors, they are killing it in every episode! Plus, Miss Sheryl Lee Ralph??? Come on. So much talent in that show. I hope you get to have those watch parties for many years!

They usually don’t have resources but still do their best to make those kids feel like royalty! They are definitely unsung heroes to me! Bravo Quinta! omg yeaaas I've just started Abbott Elementary. But I would love if Quinta made a tv series based off working at the Apple Store. It defo reminds me of Superstore which I love!! Get so many flashbacks from being younger and working in retail/department stores. Go Quinta from her Buzzfeed days to being a full blown comedian, actress and show writer... we love to see the progression. And biggup Mrs. Abbott for being an inspirational teachers and for encouraging Quinta to come out of her shell!! What a lovely teacher... makes me miss my elementary school teachers.

First time: Ms. Abbott is aging like fine wine!!! :) YES!!!!!!! Pay attention, folks!!!!! Ms. Abbott said "in complete sentences." That's good, old-fashioned teaching. That's what my mom taught me. I have been loving the show "Abbott Elementary" like everyone else but had no idea there was such a WONDERFUL backstory behind it! I LOVE that Quinta was paying tribute to a former teacher and we got the chance to see them reunite. Jimmy and his staff did a really wonderful thing bringing them together.

As a former teacher myself this hit home sooooooooooo hard because all the children that I’ve taught, encouraged, loved, and cherished I want nothing but the best for all of them. Some just recently graduated. And it goes to show you that your actions can and will have a LASTING impression on even the smallest of hearts. Omg this was so emotional for me to watch. I had an 8th grade teacher that reminded me of Ms. Abbott. Ms. Dylester Palm! They are equally beautiful inside and out. She pushed us beyond our limits especially coming from the south side of Chicago. I love teachers that makes an impact on young adults. Okay, this was EVERYTHING! I don't know either of them, but I am smiling and crying simultaneously. I've been watching and sharing Quinta's videos forever and always knew she'd be successful. Additionally, I think we all have our own Mrs. Abbott's that made a difference in our lives. I am so happy she's able to retire knowing she was such a positive influence on her students. Jimmy, I think I'm going to need a tissue too!

I am so sooo proud of Quinta for the same reason as everyone else here. My child is into animation and I want to use Quinta as an example of someone who worked their butt off to reach their goals

I love this! I’ve followed Quinta since her Buzzfeed days! Watching her star rise has been so great. Love the show and I love that Jimmy Kimmel got Ms. Abbott a first class trips. She and so many teachers deserve this.

This is beautiful! My husband is a teacher in a city school and my daughter is studying to become a teacher. I’ve always had a love for educators and what an honor for Ms. Abbott to have a show named after her. I love this show and hope it is on for a long time!
