I always say if you are married for a long time, get used to hearing the same story again, and again, and agin. I have learned through the years to enjoy the emotion my husband expresses when he tells the same story……so I just roll with it, as he does for me.

Chickens aren't jerks. I watched one challenge a huge hawk who wanted to steal her babies. She made them hide under a wheelbarrow and turned and puffed her little chest out and whould have been carried off if I hadn't been there. They sing too, and make great pets.

I work with chickens (free range egg layers) and they can be real jerks, doesn’t mean that they can’t be good mothers but they’re definitely very much jerks

Judd Apatow would like the utube of the chicken running to hug little boy returning from school, pausing, looking behind boy's head, as he has lowered to chicken to greet, looks at haircut, returns to stretch neck to little boy's neck. Chicken recognizing difference w/ haircut before affectionate greeting, is not how many would see a chicken. ♡ his learning about nature of animals, cows, octopi, to develop conscience for. Is not just seeing similarity to dogs, but learning how animals are treated, inhumanely in the factories.

I love that he's trying to quit eating red meat and instead watches videos of ppl playing with cows like dogs. I am trying to do the same thing with pigs. I really like the taste of pork but I feel so bad for eating them bc they are cute and smarter than most dogs.
