​@@peteronister1488, yes, and no. It was 2022, but Beckham did actually queue up with the general public and waited hours in line to pay his respects. Unlike a couple of other high profile celebs who used their press credentials to skip the queue, and got A LOT of flak for doing so.

@ peteronister1488 David did queue alongside we British citizens for hours. Some were in queue overnight plus the next day. He could have easily taken the short route as he’s a celebrity and sportsmen and he’s a friend of Prince William. No longer Harry’s fior obvious reasons.

@cogboy302 100% true. You are absolutely right!. I Saw it with my own eyes. David Beckham was in line, behind us, for hours before he was recognised!! Once people realised it was him, he did COUNTLESS pics for fans, spent easily over an hour JUST signing autographs for fans-who seemed to turn up out of nowhere and just swamp him. He consoled fans and strangers. He shared stories with everyone around about his- and his wife's- experiences personally meeting various Royal family members. He laughed, he cried and he most certainly stood by himself in that line, with the rest of us, and waited for his turn to pay his respects. He didn't jump any lines He didn't get - or ask for special treatment. In fact he told reporters that standing in line with everyone else was an important part of saying a respectful goodbye and showing his deep thanks for the Queens lifetime of public service. He also talked about how it was a healing experience for himself and also all those who lined up to stand, talk, share, celebrate and grieve the lost of the Queen TOGETHER. Strangers standing together to support and comfort other strangers regardless of race, religion, sexual identity, politics or wealth and so on! ❤❤ I saw him there Personally. I was approx 4 people in front of him when the excitement of those in the line caught my interest and I realised who it was In my humble experience, he was a kind, generous, funny and considerate guy!!

Yeah, I was so surprised. I was really pissed off for him too, how they treated him. I wanted to kick the a$$es of all those ppl who treated him badly. Yet the guy just kept pushing thru, and never got petty or ugly. Great guy. Doc was so well made. Fisher Stevens did a great job. That' part was a surprise, too.
