My father played sax his whole life. We were very close untill were'nt. He died two years ago alone in the hospital from cancer. He didnt tell us he was sick. He's such a painfull memory that I avoid music featuring saxaphone. But this came on my play list and I just couldnt turn it off... Thank you. Your passion translates so beautifully in your music. first time hearing this today in, 2023, oh my lord. Never knew who this artist was, god dam the emotion he slapping through that pipe. The sound just as much as his fiacial expression tell the story, both the deaf and the blind can be touch by this persons soul. I'm not sure if it's true but my interpretation of this song is life itself, starting as calm with spikes of excitement here and there, moving into your teen life where its all happening but you've got that constant structure from your parents, then onto leaving the nest the spicy highs get more intense...but also the drawn out realisation its not all smooth sailing, then midlife the melancholy, pushing through the blues....then the end game where the spicyness is a lulled down version of constant stability, yet still vibrant.
