As a Norwegian I just loves America. From I was a little girl I learned that America was a dream land. I read everything I came over about Americas history. So great. Happy 4th of July from the Smoky Mts. !! 🇱🇷💙❤🙏 I heard this many months ago as well as the "apology" ! It is fun to see reactors when Dan expresses his "sorryness". He is definitely his own person in a world FULL of Wimps! I suspect he will one day have a dual citizenship with the U.S. I think he is working on a Visa right now. Maybe we will one day be able to see him in concert!!! THAT is something we all dream about. 🤗 One last thing- I am older than you and miss patriotism as I grew up with it. We were taught to stand up when the Star Spangled Banner was played, put our right hand over our heart, and sing all the words proudly. My eyes would always be teary knowing what our military had done all throughout our history, to protect and preserve our freedoms as a true democracy. I still feel that same way. I am so disheartened that of all the winning athletes in the Olympics, individual and teams, the "Americans" are more likely to Stand on the podium with their National Anthem playing and Flag being raised, and never singing the words. How can they represent America and not be required to sing the anthem ??? This has bothered me for years. Thank you for allowing me to state my opinion about this. Thanks for playing both! Dan is still making it clear that he is never to be pigeon holed into any imagined ideal. He is who he is at any given time & will sing what he feels like singing, as well as act how he feels like being, etc. (A lot of his fans expected right away a thank you video from him for helping him to reach 1million. Plus his testerone phase isn't matching up with their ideals of a certain walk they demand out of him). Dan's THE man.

It's always fun to watch people react to Dan's unapologetic "Apology" video. Lol. The progression of expressions from curiosity, then bewilderment, occasionally even getting angry...until he pulls out that "letter".😂 Love the guy. A few of us already confirmed today, while chatting on Bro Science, that we'll be blasting Dan's Star Spangled Banner for the 4th. It's one of my all-time favorite versions of our National Anthem. Madison Rising's Star Spangled Banner is one of my other favorites. If you've never heard it, definitely check it out, Jimmy. It's not metal, but it is rock & absolutely awesome. The lead singer Dave Bray is a veteran & Christian. They're not together anymore (Dave Bray is solo), but they did lots of other patriotic songs while together. Happy 4th of July!🇺🇸
