A well designed exhaust system can help to increase the performance of an engine for a specific rpm range and different applications. With the right set of headers, especially long tube headers, one can unlock substantial amount of power and torque because it improves the scavenging effect. * A 4-1 header setup is majorly used in racing applications because it increases the peak power in the top end rpm range. * A 4-2-1 header or a 'Tri Y' header is majorly used in off-road and street applications because it maximizes torque and drivability in the mid rpm range. Another key point that is often misinterpreted is backpressure. We don't need it because the higher the backpressure, the difficult it gets for the engine to push out the gases, which reduces the overall efficiency. What we really need in a N/A engine is maximized scavenging, so that the engine can breathe better. Just my take on this topic. That been said, once again, a very insightful video veer. Thanks for explaining in detail. Would the pipes decrease the ground clearance by any chance? As the lambda sensor readings would be different than stock, wouldn't it throw an error on the dashboard? Any changes done to EGR ? (assuming EGR is present for Jimny)

There are chances that the rear left passenger may burn his legs and also the rear left tyre temperature may increase due to it's placement.

Your knowledge will definitely make a revolution in 4×4 enthusiasts. What changes are there in performance after this exhaust compared to stock exhaust.

Question- I am a novice at off-roading but can the exhaust tip get damaged while off-roading due to it’s location at the side and being so close to the tire?

The side exhaust sits lower thn the rear one. Even after being lifted damaging the side exhaust is much earlier thn rear mounted one.

Brother I'm a little curious to know how u installed the lambda 1 in a single exhaust port the second port from behind? Won't it give a false O2 reading to the ECU. I suppose it has to be after all 4 ports merges to a single pipe, the lambda 1 should take O2 reading rite? Plz correct me if I'm wrong.

Though this is SS FFE, the couplers I believe are still steel. There is rust on them especially near the welds. Is it not possible to use some sort of heat resistant paint/coating to avoid further rusting of these welds/couplers?
