I swear my heart melt on the spot to how Jinnie react to one of TV show prank featuring a sexy looking lady crying in the lift. @candybujo Because "older brother" isn't actually a correct translation. We don't have a word in English for "How a man refers to his older male friend" because the language just isn't formal like that. Sure, people translate "hyung" to "older brother" but that's not what it really means. So some people say hyung. It's not even that big of a deal. It's not hurting you personally, is it?

Sometimes I wonder if being the youngest in his own family contributes to Jin being such a good hyung to BTS members. Similar to how Tae being the oldest in his family might contribute to how much he seems to enjoy being one of the younger members. 🥰

This is actually true. I'm the youngest cousin in my mom's side of the family and I'm the oldest in my dad's side of the family, while I'm being babied on the other side, I actually like being an older "sister" to all my younger cousins and I enjoy being with them a lot than my older cousins because I get to take care of them.

What I love most about him is that everyone who knows him backstage or off camera, in his daily life, first praise his education and his good character, a good person before a handsome face. This is perhaps a reflection of a good family, a good upbringing, a good education and above all, a good relationship with your parents and brother. As an army once said, he doesn't treat members well because he is hyung, but because he is Kim Seokjin. I really really love him.

Love this comment! It's so true - jin whenever trying to be funny says about his looks but when he's serious he always mentions how he wants to be a good person (his UN speech or even when he said about his birthday he thought he wasn't a good person because he didn't get enough messages) - his character means everything to him I remember when suga had to compliment something about him and suga said his looks and jin was so over it but then suga said about how he's kind about gaming and that made him so happy 😂❤️

Jin has the best personality ever, he's such a good hyung to the younger ones, he's so caring and he's so good at reading the room in interviews etc and knowing when to make a joke and when to be serious. Every time I hear him say, "Hyung will do it", it's like the sweetest words the eldest brother can say to his siblings. He knows what he's doing even though he is the youngest in his own family. And that is just one of the things that I love about him.
