Coldplay are legends and it seems they took care of Jin so warmly. It's so uplifting to witness this muso brotherhood between these bands. These moments were so emotional for Jin, and Chris was there supporting him with the band not only as musicians but as his people. If you watch closely you can see Jin's eyes are all teary but he gets to laugh with Chris. Beautiful people in and out.

Funfact: Chris actually gave his guitar to jin as a gift. Their friendship is so adorable.

Jin has never performed without his brothers (I think?) and the fact that he did that, 36 hrs of flight away, just to perform 1 song and be able to say I love you to ARMY is.... Wow And I'm grateful for Chris and Coldplay for their love to Jin and be his safe place away from his brothers. Honestly, I wasn't expecting you to cry because you haven't seen a lot of BTS but you did. That was amazing. I guess love is love and when it's genuine, it'll hit regardless 😊💜

Jin's laughter was the cutest moment ever happened in this live performance with Chris Martin & the rest of Coldplay. It's like when you are all fixated with the lyrics, melodies, and visuals, while in the middle of purging your tears out; then, suddenly Jin laughed! It somehow breaks and soothes the feeling of sadness. Jin will always be Jin. JINuene!

Coldplay being one of the most loved and respected western artists, nearly 25+ years into making music, admitting they were prejudicial in the beginning BUT then embracing BTS with open arms, literally, learning about them, encouraging and supporting them, expressing their love for them in interviews and their concerts. This is such a wholesome interaction and relationship in this crazy industry and I’m here for it 💜❤🥺

I became a BTS fan AFTER Jin left for the service and I am already so invested in them and so in love with them (grandmotherly love) that I started crying as soon as Chris started talking about BTS and then when he introduced Jin the tears were flowing. What is the magic about these boys that you literally LOVE THEM in a way that doesn’t totally feel like a fan? It’s more than that. These boys are special beyond any celebrities I’ve ever seen. The almost child like way Jin runs and hugs Chris get to me every time I watch this. (When I say child like, ai don’t mean immature, I mean HONEST, SINCERE AND PURE). 💜 PS I am going to petition autocorrect to recognize the name Jin. Jin is very shy and humble. He always gets nervous before going on stage. For him to go and perform like this without the other members must have been very scary for him, but he did it for his fans.

Watching reaction videos for past 4 days, I saw 4 or 5 Men crying to Jin’s and coldplay live performance . To be honest at first I thought It just part of the reaction videos like to gather more views but , I cannot ignore all the sincerity of the emotions of all men who cried watching Jin’s performance. I know Jin will be touch knowing many army and other non army felt the message of his song . 💜

That's why people fall in love with BTS, they are very grateful to Army. They show they love us and respect us. In concert lines, the members pay for food, drinks, and gifts for the fans. At awards shows instead of going to after-parties they return to their hotel and do live with fans and appreciate the support they receive in foreign countries. Even if they don't win they tell us not to feel sad and even if they are sick, injured, or almost fainting they never stop giving their concerts. In many interviews, they have said that they always give their best on stage since they know the expense and effort that people make to go see them. BTS members are always on the lookout to interact with us. JK has an ARMY tattoo on his hand and has written many songs dedicated to us. They have also written letters to fans and expressed their gratitude countless times. They are pure love....

Jin was put into BTS as one of their "visuals," meaning his looks were more important than his talent. He's proven himself to be a great singer and song writer (look up Epiphany) and has worked hard to get where he is. It would make him happy to hear someone comment positively on his voice. selfless, my exact word for both of them. Jin had a live telecast in the morning of the concert day where he mentioned that Chris told him that he can have the stage during the concert. But Jin told him that is their concert and he would not also want to make any speech after his number. But Chris said it would be good for him to say anything. Chris and Coldplay are such beautiful people, inside and out. They really made it a special night for Jin and made his performance as like the finale. We are so grateful for the love and support they give to Jin especially during these times. they are his sweet hyungs. and even after Jin's last belting of I LOVE YOU, it can be seen at the background that Will (drummer) and Guy (guitarist) were clapping for Jin. they are so sweet. And surely, Jin is the happiest. He was just a fan boy since elementary and now he performed with his all-time favorite. Such a dream come true.

In 2017 Jin was asked who he'd like to collaborate with, and he said that working with Coldplay would be a dream come true; now look at them. 🥺 Seokjin, successful fan. 💜 Chris Martin and his son sang background vocals when they recorded the song. I know that you prefer live performances. Just commenting to say that the music video is very cinematic, and full of symbolism from Jin to ARMY, as well as to the other members of BTS. Coldplay is also heavily represented, even though they don't feature in the video (though there is an Easter egg cameo). It's a beautiful song; a heartfelt love letter. We are going to miss him/them very much. 💜

BTS and Coldplay have the most respect for one another, it's INSANE. BTS covered Coldplay's "Fix You" on MTV Unplugged and I'll have to say, it's by far the best cover of that song I"ve ever heard. EVER. You need to react to that and also one of their Japanese songs called "Film Out"

Chris is the loveliest guy in the business. Coldplay are so down to earth even after all these years in the industry.

Just to throw a few facts into the sweetness and enhance it a little... 1. Jin is a HUGE fan of Coldplay, and was the one to wish BTS and CP could collaborate. He said he played their music constantly through the pandemic because it comforted him. 2. He and the guys also were allowed to cover CP's 'Fix You', live, on MTv, and it was the beginning of a marvelous mutual love-and-respect between BTS fans and Coldplay fans (and a lot of overlap between the two.) 3. Chris flew to Korea, during the pandemic, to record 'My Universe' with them, and personally directed the guys in their lyrics. There's a brief behind-scenes documentary about that. 4. Chris actually gifted Jin his own personal stage guitar at that time. (You can see it in the background of 'The Astronaut' MV, along with a lot more Coldplay things.) Chris said, among other things, that 'My Universe' came to him literally out of nowhere and it seemed to be 'the' song for their collab. Jin has one of the most extraordinary vocal ranges in Korea; that run from chest voice to falsetto doesn't even begin to touch it. We call him the silver voice, and as you hear, he can both croon softly and belt it at full power when the song calls for it. The irony is that his intended career path was to be an actor. He got spotted and scouted for the company, Big Hit, ten+ years ago- had never sung in his life, nor danced, and had to learn both from scratch. He himself tends to downplay his voice as not one of the better ones in the group, which always troubles the fans a bit- he's so critical of himself. We ARMYs are extremely grateful to Coldplay for giving Jin such a sweet and loving song, and for this one last time on stage before he has to leave. 😭

I was at this concert and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. We were all sobbing. The woman next to me was crying so hard she could barely breath. Even Jin teared up at the end. It's hard to say goodbye but we'll always be here for them no matter where their roads lead.

I've been a Coldplayer for a long time and I must admit that I didn't like My Universe very much because the rap part doesn't convince me. When I heard of a new collaboration with BTS I thought it would be another song similar to My Universe and well it was only left to accept it, but when they mentioned that it would be with the member who sings best in that group then things changed because Jin would give another color to the collaboration due to his excellent voice (the cover of FIX YOU made it clear). This song is undoubtedly the best collaboration decision Chris had related to BTS and since it's different from My Universe, it makes it something much better because it's a style that we Coldplayers love. I'm not saying that My Universe is bad but that The Astronaut is a thousand times superior and clearly Jin's voice is perfect for this type of song. If Chris is going to collaborate with BTS again, I hope it will be with Jin who is the best voice he has and is suitable to sing this style.

It was a blast. The Coldplay show was 101% amd Jin made it more incredible. I still can believe, 8 days later, I was there. That day I didnt cried. I wanted to enjoy every second of it. But since then I can't stop crying. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I was there. It is subreal. Like a dream I don't wanna wake up. EVER.

You know what's so GREAT about Kim Seokjin is that he WAS NOT a singer when he entered BTS & literally had to learn from scratch! THAT'S talent!

Jin had to enlist in the military during the summer season(a few months back) but he stayed back only because he wanted to give us that one last performance. He waited so now he will have to endure the harsh winter and go to the military which FYI, not many Korean people would choose to do but he did..that's HOW MUCH he loves and appreciate ARMYS. I legit cried knowing he'd be going through a tougher season at the military only because he chose to stay a little longer with us.

Omg, you are so right, this is an important moment for music. That moment, Jin covering up the tears in his eyes as his voices faulters and he laughs it off (he know this will be the last time till 2025). The moment of two legendary band mates, different cultures, different races, different languages, it just proves, music is more than language. It has brought together millions of people, regardless of sexuality, gender, race, belief and languages. I'm so glad to be alive in a time where BTS and Coldplay are making art and breaking borders like this. It really is a big moment in history for Kpop. No doubt Kpop, in the next few years, will no longer just be Kpop, they'll be recognized as the *International* Groups and Artists they deserve to be. I have yet to be able to watch this performance without crying too. Just the amount of emotion that Jin puts into the performance, and the way he leaves absolutely no doubt as to who that last "And I love you" is meant for. I also love the entire relationship between BTS and Coldplay. At first glance, you'd think it an unlikely pairing - two bands from different genres, generations, and parts of the world. But the more you look, the more you can see that for all their differences, they also hold similar values, themes in their lyrics, and their genuine love and appreciation for their fans that is practically its own entity. I love that the two groups are close enough that Jin *could* call up Chris Martin to help him with this, and that Chris could write this song and know that it was the song Jin needed. I love that Coldplay understood how important it was for Jin to be able to perform this song for a live audience before he starts his military service, and that they invited him to do so on their concert stage.
