JY has a shy personality and is actually an introvert. Many women find him attractive and that’s not his fault as he just continues to be himself. He did admit to Seul-ki he tends to put his guard up at the start to which she promised to be patient. Yet, she ended up giving him mixed messages…like many women, Seul-ki gave in to trying to make JY jealous using JW. She succeeded too as JY did think she was happier with JIN woo.JY also wanted Seul-ki to win the wrestling match and purposely and bravely choose him but it wasn’t to be. Perhaps they are not each other’s destiny.

I agree but tbh choose someone that clearly you didnt felt love for him and it was more like being a nice friend and not hurt his feelings thats not a choice following your heart. Its just feel sad for someone and bc im dont have the security of the other guy then i better choose someone who likes me 100% but i dont. Jin Young have feeling for her but he was also concern about the future of that relationship thats more honest and meaningful bc he is thinking for both of them to have a healthy relationship so no one gets hurt. To be honest, it goes bad either way. I accepted a guy who put me on a pedestal and gave me 100% assurance even though I had no feelings for him. I thought it was the safe choice. The relationship was emotionally draining and I was miserable having to pretend every day that I had feelings that I didn't. Eventually the guy started suspecting me of cheating on him and became controlling and imposing all kinds of restrictions on me. That didn't end well at all.

I wasnt playing with her but there were somethings i was concern about but ppl talk to be risky and just went for it. I liked spending time with her but it wasnt different than when i was with my friends. I think she knew that but didnt want to accept the truth. 4 months later i have a talk with her mom and told me she changed a lot of things just to match my schedule and spend money too on things she didnt need to just be more confident around me and other things about her behavior with her family and friends. So basically she was changing her personality and lifestyle just for me. I didnt know this bc she hide it from me she always bring out other topics. So i had to talk with her and just be honest about the relationship bc i didnt want her to change or sacrifice all these for me thats not how a relationship should be. She was sad but she understood this was wrong and we decided to be friends. So being risky to choose someone can go wrong. I think is bettee when you take a timé to think about all and the potencial in the future and how both sides feels. There have to be at least some interest on each other.

I 100% agree. He is honest and mature. When he goes to paradise with Nadine. They talk enough and when he return in inferno he wants to have such a deep conversation with her but she still flirty and answer like a girl who has crush (physicaly attracted). You gave a great insight into their conversation here. Jinyoung did wondering why it's hard for them to start a conversation. Of course the chemistry is there and they like each other but they still barely know each other. They got no time, so he blurted about his instability to give Seulki a heads up and opportunity to rethink about her decision. I think he'll be comfortable telling Seulki upfront about his condition and up to Seulki to still choose him or not. But unfortunately Seulki took it as rejection and him being indecisive. Both need to improve their communication skills. Jinyoung definitely needs to express more and speak clearly. Actually Seulki too can ask the right question to Jinyoung because he'll answer anything honestly. I just think Nadine or maybe Seoeun are someone who will ask the right question in order to understand other people. Jinyoung wanted another paradise date because he knew they didn't have proper conversation. So little time and they cant spend more time to talk because both are too popular. I don't know why some people think he's a red flag. He's just handsome, charming, honest, considerate and thoughtful. He can be more popular if he just confess to Seulki and become the final couple but he didnt. Sometimes i think he's a bit naive.

So many different possibilities outside of the show. Sadly most relationships or couples formed from dating shows like this don’t last that long outside of it anyways. We were entertained, which was the main purpose of the show! So lets just enjoy whoever love story flutters or makes us giddy! No need to be serious about this. 😅For all we know the casts have already moved on and live their respective lives. At least each of them for sure learned a lot and have made some kind of relationship/friendship through the show.

hehehe I like both of them too but I am not gonna cry! I’ve been in SK’s shoes once. Given the right time and circumstances, sooner or later, they will find their way to their happy ending. Just like how mine and my “JY” husband turned out. I’m actually happy they were not end game in the show. Most couples who ended up together in the show never lasts long outside of it. I don't think he messed up....I think he acted very maturely and honestly.They both did have sparks in their relationship but Ji young couldn't see any future between them. Besides, owning a cafe in Seoul unless it’s one of those high end luxurious type does not cost a lot. Hence it became one of the most common type of business in SK. One article mentioned, “opening a cafe has become one of the most common businesses such that over 14,000 coffee shops newly open a year but one out of ten coffee stores often fails to make a profit along side with the rapid expansion. In short, you can be in middle class, no need to be rich, to own a cafe in SK.

Some of you might not agree but the last deep conversation between him and Seul-Ki showed the gap between them. He went to the extent of asking her what kind of person she thinks of him from the inside and she simply said something like "someone her mind thinks about" or something. It was a let down to be honest since it showed how infatuated she is. JY knew this fact I think and proceeded to burst her bubble by revealing his real life circumstances and that he may not be able to take care of them after the show. He wanted her to lower down expectations cause what comes after is much more important than winning a silly game. He wasn't a player. He was honest and quite honorable to the contrary revealing his vulnerabilities before a potential partner. It takes courage to open up like that and not just put your best foot forward just to win the game. I do hope this funny charismatic guy get more breaks in real life. He was literally the catalyst and most entertaining persona in the show - even without trying so hard. Fans should support his Dex 101 channel and dex_xeb IG account.
