Daniel Bryan in late 2018 and early 2019 played the heel role to perfection. That's what I call a true heel. The Miz in late 2016 was a great heel. You know what both had in common.Their heel work lead to babyface Kofi and babyface Ziggler become champions whom fans got behind and both of them winning the title were great moments.Jinder never did that.So how was he a good heel

I’ve enjoyed reading all the positive comments about Jinder. I really enjoyed his title reign and was disappointed when they pulled the rug from under him. I'm guessing the guy behind Wrestlelamia is a fat, basement dwelling, neck beard. A lot of those types hate the more muscular wrestlers. With the way this guy reports things, he seems to fit that category. But I could be wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ All I know is this dude, for the most part, will take a negative view on just about everything WWE does. I wonder why he even bothers to watch? I'm sure glad he doesn't run WWE, I bet Raw and SD would become like NXT: boring as hell to watch. NXT is fuckin lame most of those guys don't really even have a gimmick or character. And almost all of their move-sets, apart from finishers, are mostly all the same.

I hate to say it, but he'll probably never get his chance. He's lost so many matches, that it would be impossible for him to establish any respect and credibility. He'd probably be forced to lose the Title the first time that he defended it. Heath Slater has been a jobber for so long, that, for him to be able to get wins, and eventually get the Title, would be very difficult at best. Still, there's always an outside chance that he could do it. Best of luck, Heath! You'll need it!

Slater won’t ever hold that title. That dude doesn’t take his job seriously. He’s just one of those entertainers that are just happy to still have a job there. All this time of not being on tv or having matches. He coulda hit the gym as hard as drew and JINDER have to take control of their own fates. And it paid off for both. Slater doesn’t care much for his career. Cuz if he did he woulda put on muscle. Repackaged himself to a heel type or face. But he needs to get bigger and a gimmick change.

I actually liked Jinder Mahal as champion. It was something fresh. He held the title respectfully. Did interviews, dressed in suits and fancy clothes, and then right before, during and after his reign did some serious dieting and training and did a great job of looking the part with his body too. He has decent or above average mic skills and made a great heal with the help of the Singh brothers. Drew McIntyre, has been my favorite wrestler since he came back but Jinder also became one of my favorites because it was obvious he had busted his but to finally get to that level. I would even love to see him have additional runs with the title and/or Universal Champion.

Cause the company realized it would be a disaster to have Lesnar and Mahal main event Survivor Series. That’s your idea of a good champion? Btw, that AJ/Brock match was way better than whatever we would’ve gotten with the original plan. The ratings on Smackdown dropped week by week when he was champ, the big India tour WWE planned had to get cut down to one show (where he lost!) due to a lack of fan interest and the WWE network actually lost subscribers in India while Jinder was champ. The experiment was failing on all fronts. Maybe. Maybe if they built him up naturally after he became so swole, he could’ve conceivably won the belt in a way that didn’t feel so rushed. Win the US title first, accumulate some wins against some bigger names and enter the main event that way. This did not work.

I agree. The worst kind of wrestlers are the guys who get no reaction at all. With Jinder, he got immense heel heat from the crowd whenever he showed up on live tv. So he wasn't the worst by any means.

The WWE just wanted him to become what they wanted Muhammad Hassan to become. They have similar entrance themes with the same style of singing just different languages, that being his Hindi compared to Hassan’s Arabic. They also have the same move-set. They were involved in racist angles. WWE was just recreating The Muhammad Hassan character that tragically died in 2005 😉

IMO, Jinder's title reign was enjoyable. I liked it. If I had to pick the worst WWE title reign, (despite being my all time favorite wrestler), it would be Rey Mysterio. Now before you bash me, keep in mind Rey only ever held the WWE title once, for less than 24 hours. Worst part is his bad title reign wasn't even his fault, he lost the title to John Cena the same night he won it. His World Heavyweight Title is a different story.

Dear Heath Slater, if you’re wondering when you’ll get the belt. Follow your two band mates plans and get cut. Disappear and lock yourself in a gym for a year with as much steroids as you can get your hands on. Return and boom you’ll be champ before you know it as long as you put on at minimum 20 pounds of pure steroid muscles

- WWE made him champion to grow their market in India. - Jinder Mahal became the champion at the right place but at the wrong time, he wasn't ready for it. - His match qualities weren't good enough to be a main event player. - Did he worked hard to get to the top? Hell yeah! - Conclusion: It just didn't worked.

Since we knew wrestling's inner workings and knew that Vince just wanted to attract an Indian market, it made it hard for fans to accept him. He had go away heat due to WWE giving a jobber a title he wasn't built towards winning. That being said, he wasn't the worst champion. In retrospect, I would have made Jinder IC champ and had him keep the strap through the India tour. Then, you could test the waters without ruining the top title.

I feel like I'm the only person who actually enjoyed his time as WWE champion. It was unique and I thought it both elevated Jinder and really showed that smackdown was the land of opportunity since no one expected Jinder to simply defeat Randy Orton let alone become WWE champion. I also loved his new "Modern Day Maharaja" gimmick. Bro felt like royalty to me everytime he made his entrance with the Singh brothers. The two things I wish they did better was to give him alot more stand-alone wins instead of the Singh brothers interfering as much as they did and his feud with Nakamura could've been alot better.
