Today, Unions are morally WORSE than corporations. Corporations are SUPPOSED to make a profit, EVERYONE know that. Unions are SUPPOSED to "help" labor, but are just a money grabbing political racket whose contributions are to a certain political party whose VERY MISSION is to kill the industries that their "members" (marks) belong to. Collecting money to KILL YOUR JOB. I'd LOVE to have had the dough that I paid in union dues to have been in just a STUPID index fund, I might not HAVE to work until I'm 90 had I been able to do so. 😡

They usually don't have jingles anymore on TV commercials. They might use old songs, which is probably cheaper than paying a songwriter to come up with something.

I would think it would be the opposite;that licensing those songs would cost more. This may sound radical, but I think the world is just about out of tunes. I seldom hear any new melodies that are catchy and I can hum. Not in songs, TV or movie themes or commercials.Of course, I don't hear everything that's put out.

Splendid compilation! You should do some of the catch phrases from days gone by. Of course "Where's the beef?" "Trix are for kids." "Hey Mikey. He likes it." I'm sure you can think of a lot more.

I could, Michael. But jingles are so much more fun.
