"I came back home so I want my home back" This phrase really brings me to tears. As someone who cannot go home just yet, probably at all, I really feel this song. It also speaks to my pacifism, so there is that too, people are left homeless because other people are too busy screaming "fire in the hole". "Don't you leave us homeless"

The song was written in 2017. It's about the Ukrainian Government/Military shelling the people in their home city Donetsk. If you think it means something else, you all should do your homework. Peace to the people of Donbass. Freedom to the Donabss is coming and I hope an end to this 8 year attrocity comes soon.

Except this was written in 2017... The Ukrainian Government/Military has been shelling their own people in Donetsk since 2014. 14k+ civilian lives were lost at the hands of the Ukrainian Government/Military from 2014-2021 alone, yet we here in the west chearing on the slaughter. Please I beg people, do some homework on the Ukrainian conflict post-Maidan.
