@@xLindsayhd yeah, but not just the elderly. Also people who have been in accidents recently, or people who are recovering from bad sicknesses. Even people who have breathing problems and more of the like. But if people are careful, we may be able to avoid it becoming deadly. Only about a hundred people have gotten it here, but we've got curfew continuously for like, days and we're all on house arrest.😐😐😬

I LOVE her voice and singing style and moreover there is depth in her songs. If you know the story of Sia this song makes complete sense and is even somewhat healing with a few others.

This song is so inspirational to me. I've been bullied and have hard so many hard times. I listened to this song today and I almost cried. People bully because of looks, but we're all unique. Never forget this. You're all unique just like me. Sia is so brave to express herself, while most of us are so scared to get bullied for being ourselves. This is what the world has come to. as many times i’ve listened to this song, i am now just hearing her voice singing in the background. the “i sing for me” is really hitting it hard for me. having been depressed for so long, i’ve forgotten the person i once was. to me the “i sing for me” is that person i once was fighting to be free from the shackles of my depression. even though i have basically given up at this point, that little person i once was is still somewhere within me, and it’s like he’s saying “i’m not ready to die yet. i still have something to say. i’m singing for myself because i don’t want you to give into your depression and let it win.”

I love your comment, and how that part of the song especially hits you. One of the brilliant things about Sia's songs, IMHO, and especially this one, is her riffs and layers of harmonies that aren't just there for prettiness's sake, but are deeply moving. I love the "I sing for me" throughout the song, especially when it's kinda in the background, because although it's not as prominent as the main voice/melody, it's performed free-from (ie, isn't constrained to the structure of the main melody) and so it feels like it's rising naturally, without restraint, without having to follow expectations. And what it says, how it sounds, is so beautiful. This is the perfect song for my daughter. She was a singer and had cancer, which took her voice and then her life. Ten months today. She loved this song and we played it at her memorial. Miss you Rose-Love you.

Yes, I came here from the Shallows but there was one thing that stood out in the song. 1. "I don't care, if I sing off key, I found myself in my Melodies." My daughter says that this quote will last forever in her heart like it was branded to her. Yes. She had been bullied so many times, and yes she had attempt for suicide more than the times she had been bullied. When she heard watched the movie, "The Shallows" and when it ended She told me: "Daddy, remind me not to go on any trips to tropical islands, or even better, on cruises" This made me laugh but cry at the same time. Because I had never heard my little girl talk in weeks. The next day in school she had become different, she never came home with bruises, she never cried, she never run upstairs, I sensed something in her that had changed, her attitude was different, she had grown strong and independent, she doesn't care if people doubt or beat her down! She fights back! Thank you Sia for making this encouraging song! It had changed my little girl! It had also change me as well ^^.

This song has helped me so incredibly much in my fight against an eating disorder. I can't really explain why but I think it's just the power and the sentence that brings me the most power is 'I don't wanna die'. I went through the same thing a few years ago, and I came out stronger. Its still a constant battle and it will be for the rest of my life, but you just have to stay strong and realize your worth. Everyone deserves to be happy, and sadly thats a hard thing to be, but one day you will come out surviving this so much stronger.

I remember listening to this song while my dad were driving me to my mom’s house. I was excited to see her and having fun spending the week with her, but…When I got a look at her, there were bruises on her face that were big. I asked her why she had bruises but told me to not ask about it again. I later on talked with my grandma about it and she said that my mom stood up for a homeless guy that was getting abused on the street by idiots. Until then, I never talked about it. I knew she had a kind heart, but never knew it was so big.

I was 22 when I grabbed a knife to cut my wrist. I ended up in a mental detention in London for 24 hours. I vowed on my honour then that I would set my wings up high once I was out of that place. I'm in a much better situation in life right now.
