Animation Rewind. I hope you will read this and at least have fun with this comment. Dragon Ball characters don't follow the rules of logic or physics at all and their stats change from scene to scene. I will give you few examples: Speed of smell. In DBS where they should be the strongest and the fastest they ever were we see a fight where one character detects his enemies by smell. You smell things when their chemicalls reach the smelling sensors through air. Not to mention that you couldn't smell a person's punch [just his presence or lack of one] but smell is slow. Movement of chemicals through the air is slow enough that anything which is moderately fast couldn't be smelled before it hit you. Even super smell sensors wouldn't catch smell of a [something relatively slow] bullet. Magetta's weight Magetta weights in manga one thousand tons. They can't lift 1,000 tons. Even as god damn super sayians [I think even blue vegeta couldn't lift him]. This is ridiculous. And it's a stated literally how much he weights and shown that he can't be lifted because of his weight. In DBS by super sayians ... Talking, time and fighting. The whole fight in DBS is suposed to last 40 minutes. If you make a timeline of the fight indluding objective markers like drop outs, universe elimination, whole stage events - the amount of talk that happens shows that time is broken in the DBS. Also character talk and fight at the same time or talk and run, talk and shoot etc. There is never stated that their speach is super fast and their ears can proccess super fast speach. So actions done by characters compared to their speaking makes those actions really slow. Planet Busting and punches. Power needed to destroy planet [not make it unhabitable or deserted but break it apart so it stops being a planet] is quite big. Especially if it's aplied from the outside of the planet in a single smaller or larger area. We know that DB characters can bust planets from two main planet busting events - Frieza does it and Buu does it [Berus uses Destruction so it doesn't matter in pure terms of power]. Frieza can do it in his first form [planet Vegeta] and his first form is many orders of magnitude weaker than anything in DBS. So if they are far far stronger then their punches or simple ki blasts should be maybe not planet busting but at least crater making. And we see characters miss tons of ki blasts and ocasional punches that do almost nothing to the terain. Or are the ki blasts and punches much weaker than planet busting? Then why would they hurt those people? - One can argue that those hits are designed in a way that don't destroy nonliving objects .... but in DB we know they operate only in power not in weird magic-like attacks. Out of bounds in DBS. If someone knows just a little bit about physics of movement, about inertia and friction he would know that without ability to navigate and stop in air [flying] using big forces would easly throw anything out of bounds. Everything is a cannonball if you can generate enough force. Single punch at an upward angle would throw others from the arena. Arena in DBS tournament is small their straight punches send enemies flying. If they wanted they could end this in first few minutes of the show just by generating outward force from the center of the arena or simply by punching enemies when the arena was flat at the start. Summary Speed of smell - they are slow. Magetta weight - they are "weak" Talking and fighting - they are slow and time works bad. Planet bustting - they are super inconsistent in their strenght. Out of bounds - physics doesn't work in Dragon Ball. I would love if you could answer this message.

they did make some mistakes on both sides. Superman's durability is a lot higher than they listed, he survived the events of flashpoint and the new 52, which were manifested as a wave of anti-matter and time paradox wipeing out the entire DC multiverse to replace with 52 new uiverses..... and pre-flashpoint superman survived that, showing up in DC towards the end. To clarify, that's every spin-off, alternate universe or adaption DC ever made, mentioned or implied prior to the new 52 event destroyed among thousand of others (yes even the animated and cinematic ones, we're all annoyed about that) and superman survived, though it did put him out of commision for a while.. what's more he's not batman's euqal in combat, he's his superior. the established reason batman ever won against him is that superman didn't want to hurt him or fight him seriously (even in the dark knight returns, which became the groundwork for most following fights of the same type). He's a master of several alien forms of superhuman combat and an equal to wonderwoman. the greates melee combatant on earth, and a centuries old immortal trained from infancy. the logic of his power being limited is also heavily flawed, as it can easily be applied to Jiren himself. additionally, infinity has different sizes, and some are larger than others. for example, the number of possible intergers is infinite, while he number of possbile combinations of intergers and decimals is also infinite, and unquestionabley larger.

The thing about that durability isn't that it's anything to do with physical forces though. It's not like it was treated as an energy blast or a physical punch. It simply means he is resistant to rewrites of events/time paradoxes, which can't generally be translated to any form of physical durability (plus Superman has feats where he's resistant to Time Stop, so that could be a factor here). Superman isn't close to Batman's level of martial arts. Beating someone in a fight =/= skill level (otherwise Saitama is a better martial artist than Batman). Superman simply outclasses him in strength and Batman doesn't have anything that directly evens out the strength category most of the time and resorts to weakening him instead. I agree with your last point though.

+graduator14 The gap to cross Universal+ to Multi-Universal is unknown simply due to the fact that it requires an unspecified 4-D value/equivalent of 3-D force/energy. Hence you can be billions of times stronger than a Universe+, but remain at Multi-Universal. Universe+ base Goku & Super Saiyan forms still likely result in Universe+, but the ridiculous increase of SSG & SSB does likely result in Multi-Universal, although I doubt they reach Multiverse level even with UI Goku and Jiren without factoring in the non-canon stuff like DBH.

He's also survived going hand-to hand with doomsday in a state where doomsday could punch his way through dimensions, and again against the anit-monitor who is the multiverse incarnate and blasts from a weapon designed to take out entire galaxies at a time. And in terms of strength, he once punched a man so hard time reset. superman isn't simply blunt force. He's trained in many alien martial arts and all human ones, often by the earth champions in that feild, such as muhhamad ali for boxing. It helps that he's smart enough to learn everything he needs to perform open heart surgery in less than a minute (red son).There's a very telling scen in dk3, the second sequel to the dark knight rises, where the entire population of krypton, freshly supercharged with power, descends on earth, and superman takes them all on due to his superior martial ability. Bats is in awe of his skill noting the smoothness, and efficiency and realising just how much superman was holding back when they fought. in the mainstream he's also taken on entire military bases in kyrptonite suits hand to hand, and systematically taken down the authority. even as a simple human, he still outclasses batman bruce in terms of skill, requiring him to stack the deck in his favour as much as possible and go for the cheapest shots he can. not to mention that ultra instinct, the means by which goku defeated Jiren is functionally the same as torquasm-vo, superman's martial art of choice. It relies on blocking out concious thought and using instinct to dodge and respond to incoming attacks, in other words a form of supreme clarity utilising the theta state. and according to galactic conqueror Dominus, Superman has taken it to levels never seen before.

Honestly I didn't read New-52 that often but from what I recall, wasn't the New-52 Multiverse/iteration of the DC Multiverse caused by the events of Flashpoint (and apparently Doctor Manhattan as well according to DC Rebirth)? I can't really comment on this part further since Idk what specific series or event you're referring to. But still given the context of what you're saying (I apologise in advance if I get anything wrong, since I'm guessing given what you've told me), this doesn't count as a direct durability feat such as tanking a punch or suriviving the energy to vaporise a universe. It counts more of a resistance rather than a durability feat. Also which version of Doomsday are you referencing? I've never actually heard of that version of Doomsday before. As for the Anti-Monitor, most iterations of Superman (including the vastly superior Superboy-Prime) get dominated by the Anti-Monitor even when weakened. Even during the Darkseid War, God of Strength Superman's Solar Flare did absolutely nothing against Mobius who, while stated to be stronger, shouldn't be massively stronger than his regular self (and New-52 Anti-Monitor was stated to be equal to his Crisis counterpart). I'm assuming you're referring to the Void Hound? If so I do agree on that feat given he has other multi-solar system and galaxy level feats. Also what feat are you referring to where time reset? The only one I know of was when Superboy-Prime punched the Time Trapper, who was simply his future self. I do know that Superman is a capable martial artist, but in every case Batman has brought Superman down to his level via either Kryptonite or Red Sun radiation, Batman always wins the encounter. Heck, you can debatably argue that New-52 Batman in his Hellbat suit had a much better fight against Darkseid in their encounter than Superman normally does. Also I was referring to the main continuity of Batman and Superman, not the Dark Knight version. But counting other stuff as feats, Batman has frequently trained with Karate Kid before, who is apparently such a great martial artist to the point where he's taken on Kryptonians and even knocks them away with sheer skill. Batman never gets a chance to fight Superman in an equal and direct hand to hand fight. (also if I recall right in DK3, the Kryptonians were depowered while Superman had a suit on to prevent being depowered). They do have similarities, but Ultra Instinct does appear to take it to the extreme where Goku is at such a level of self-movement that he is able to fight Jiren with his eyes closed and Whis does mention that each individual limb moves independently, not requiring any form of thought process. Based on what we see Whis do, he's able to dodge every attack without appearing to have the need to focus on the fight whatsoever, even to the point of dodging surprise attacks or AoE attacks as shown by Goku.

Goku didn't win though because he didn't finish the fight, he made the same mistake that he warned Frieza about when it came to using his new golden form, Goku's body couldn't handle the strain so he put himself in a position to lose, a mistake he made before in his first fight with Vegeta over doing it with the Kaio-ken.

Dragon Ball characters are known to get hurt easily if they are caught off guard, and he's going to be fighting 2 other Masters when it comes to strategy and technique.
