An audio comparison is never an easy thing to try and pull off over KZfaq, but you've done a fantastic job! This is a very nice build and a very nice comparison to cheaper alternatives. Thank you for taking the time to make this.

I assume that the set sounds better than the original, otherwise what the whole job was for. But the project is interesting, although for my taste, the combination of plexiglass and wood looks more laboratory-like than home-made. I congratulate for precision, creativity and aesthetics of workmanship. Thanks for the workshop tips.

Amplifier seemed comparable. Speakers were night and day. Any thoughts on adding a Bluetooth chip in yours? Great build.

One of the reason I stated watching your videos is because you did NOT put music to you work. I hope this is an exception because you're working on speakers, but I muted the music right away. Great work on the speakers! :)

nice clean build! only ad'vice i could lever is, using pair of automobile coaxial cones of least 4" or 6" size for bossier bass & match amplifier rated for 4 or 8 ohm speaker standards.. miss matching sound system can work but suffers in distorted output and possible burnt voice coils..

Excellent work, but maybe could you play something thru any DAC? iPhone is not the best choice for sound streaming?? Try maybe iFi Zen DAC V2. I highly recommend it! Take care and stay safe!

Did you phase your speakers? If they're out of phase you'll lose some bass.

The grain direction is a little bit strange to me. Don't you afraid that the side panels works themself off over time?
