Our guest speaker Rasaraja Das is a senior, Vaishnava monk of 44 years at ISKCON. He served as temple president at ISKCON Juhu in the early 90s.

Hare Krishna! Dandavat Pranam Prabhu! As per my understanding it is just the Soul that travels because the rest is activity of the Soul - either it wants to merge with the effulgence or it wants to retain one’s identity and serve Lord Sri Krishna or has accumulated Karma and continues in the life / death / rebirth cycle - The Soul is continuously active and never at rest - so what travels is The Soul to It’s appropriate destination as per what has been achieved by the Soul by It’s activity - yet not affected by it. Each Soul has achieved a destination according to It’s activity - activity is part and parcel of The Soul and not separate and yet is not influenced by the activity - Achintya Bheda Abheda! Hare Krishna!

After atonement, if you decide that I will not do this again because Lord doesn't like it, according to shastra - you will attain bhakti. For that you must know what Lord says by reading shastra. You will still have tendency to do again but you will avoid because your love Lord more than your desires. Loving lord means pleasing him through actions by following His words. So you will not do wrong things because now your desire is to please Lord. Your desires are transformed... From pleasing yourself to pleasing Lord. Activity in itself is not good or bad, with what intentions you did activity binds karma to you or sets you free... If Lord tells you to eat nonveg and you do just for Lord's sake then that activity is also bhakti. For example if you don't like to lie. It's your rule... But if Lord wants you to, and you do lie for His sake nothing wrong in it. It's bhakti. We should not have any desire to get rid of paap or anarthas or go back to godhead etc... only desire should be to please Lord by your actions. So you will connect your every action for His pleasure and it will become seva to Lord. Arjuna killed so many people on battle field for Lord's pleasure. Thanks bhakti on the other hand Yudhishthir refused to lie even when Lord told Him to do so is not bhakti. We must become Only executer of Lord's order... No expectations , no desire for fruit, no worries about right or wrong... Total surrender is very difficult. We say we are surrendered but we still depend on our relatives, other devotees, parents or children, jobs etc. complete surrender is something like going to unknown place, without any knowledge of place, no weapon, no money , no personal contacts, just depending completely on Lord. This kind of surrender was shows by prabhupad when he went to USA first time, others yet could not do. So called sanyasis are dependent on Iskcon and their contacts, facilities by Iskcon... Lord says in bhagwad gita that i am mind in senses. Lord or parmatma goes along with subtle body and soul. All our past tensencies are stored in mind in the form of false ego.

Mostly, the guests speak in Hindi. Only some foreign based bhakts use English. So, don't judge please. Hare Krsna Channel is doing superb devotional service. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
