Awesome video! This machine has a special place in my heart . My granddad had a 300-acre working farm back in the 70s, and this was his workhorse. Watching this brought so many memories flooding back . I was 10 years old when I first learned to drive and man did I love that tractor . Thanks for the video

Hey, just want to urge you to buy a set of replacement shifter boots for your tractor. They are under $5/pair and save your transmission from getting water down in it where it can fill up and freeze cracking the casting in the worst case, corroding the bearings (especially the small needle bearings at the lowest positions), lock up the shifter rods, and create a lot of repair work in there. I just went through the TO35 I inherited to replace bearings and seals in the transmission because of the rubber not sealing to the shifter shafts. The shifter knobs unscrew, pull off the old ones and push on the new ones.

I just bought a 1963 MF 35 deluxe 3cyl perkins diesel 5 days ago for $600. Runs great. Mine doesn't have diff lock either. But if your brake pedals are not locked together you can press the brake pedal on the wheel that is spinning and the other wheel will start to spin.

My Grampa got one of these new in the 50s. It was his first new tractor on his tobacco farm he sold it to my dad in the early 70s in an auction, it is now my brother’s and most likely is rotting at the farm my dad gave him as well. It was a great tractor, the orchard version, exhaust out the rear... like this, gas engine, deluxe version.
