Wonderful! None of the moves are anything I haven't seen before, but the way you put them together in flow patterns has been enlightening to me. I think this will help me in my progress. Thank you!

Professor Cavalcanti is one of the best instructors teaching via video and real time as well. I really like that he teaches variation and different side control escapes which happens as you grapple. These are high percentage fundamentals that we work on any level grappler. When grappling, always try to work with someone who has the right respect for others, students of all levels, otherwise the school will lose people for lack of disciple.

NIce video. More reflective of the messy realities and the dynamism of rolling. The best escape starts in advance of the opponent taking the position. Lots of good details I hope to use.

Notice Master Ricardo BLOCKS the cross face while underhooking the far arm. Saulo Ribiero also says that this is a must. As long as you are cross faced, you are at your opponents mercy, and underhooking the far arm without a cross face block is bad, bad bad! Great teacher!

Very nice videos and i love the final quote you make in all videos :) .My sugestion for new videos is to make a series of videos showing you and /or some of your students rolling normally, and with you commenting on what is happening, explaining what they are doing, or trying to do, what should they do in a specific situation etc. many thanks and cumprimentos de Portugal.

Hi I'm just starting on learning jiujitsu right now when sparing with my partner and I'm on the top, I got over one of my leg over my partner leg, but my partner trap one of my leg, and I'm having trouble freeing my other leg. My partner was stronger than me. What should Ido?

For the last escape, the North/South one, you already had both arms on the outside, but often when someone transitions to North/South they trap one or sometimes both arms on the inside, will that escape of penduluming the hips still work, or is there another variation of the escape. Thanks, Carlson Gracie London. Oss

I really need your help! 5:20min in this posision. When oponent sits on your face and put's his whole body on you, (not like on the video, but the whole body), his head goes on your stomach. I can't reach his belt. If you answer my question I will be wery greatfull. Sorry for my english.

I´m 44, and have been practicing BJJ 3 times a week for almost 2 and a half years. You will be ok, as long you take some precautions: respect the limitations of your body, make sure to go to a good school that has some non athlete students ( a very competitive school might not be the best for you) and stay away from any fellow student that takes his EGO on to the mat and will try to feel good by hurting you. And most and formost, TAP. Don´t try to be a though guy. You´ll only get hurt.
