JJ is probably the kindest, strongest and most vulnerable character in the whole series. He is always there when his friends need him. He sacrificed himself for them countless times, and he always gives them everything he has to give, even when he’s has absolutely nothing. There was never a time when he didn’t give everything up for his friends, even though his dad has put him through god knows what at home. And he obviously likes kie, I mean, you can see it in his eyes, anytime she talks about another guy, you can tell that he wants her. But when she kisses John b and Pope, he doesn’t get mad at her, he just steps back, and lets it happen. You can tell that it hurts him to see kie with other guys, but he doesn’t do anything about it. JJ deserves so much more, he deserves the world. I really hope that kie realizes that he likes her, and that she should get together with him. He deserves her. And nothing ever goes right for JJ, yet he still just keeps on giving more and more of himself up, and at some point, he wont have anymore of himself to give, but he'll still just keep giving. JJ deserves better than the life than the one he has.

The actors from outer banks are honestly pretty good definitely if you compare them with other netflix series

In the last episode when kiara's parents were there for her to hug her and pope's parents were also there for him but JJ was all alone goddamn dude i cried so hard , or when he said to pope it's nothing that hasn't happened before jesus it was so sad ..

he is perfect. shows that he has feelings even though he is all tough, he just wanted to be loved by his father, because even his father does all this, JJ still loves him. I know it’s just a series, As a matter of fact, my favorite series, but there is an image that we have to have friends, and that we are not always tough, sometimes we just need to be loved.

I love his character and how he stood for all this stuff his whole life but is so strong. I just wanted to give him the biggest hug possible and tell him hes awesome and deserves so much more than the life he's had.

jj has the best backstory, worst life, and the greatest loyalty to his friends. he literally is the most interesting character because of all these things, especially his explosive personality. he’s gone through the most trauma out of them all, with his mom leaving him when he was young and his dad beating him for god knows how long. rudy makes his character with his OUTSTANDING acting. jj litteraly deserves everything.

JJ definitely has the saddest story. His life is the exact definition of nothing to lose. He gave up everything he had for his friends, sticking up for them no matter what, taking the blame even though he knew his father would hit him but he didn't care because to him his friends were all he had which is the saddest part.
