JJ Cale just exuded coolness. He was so unassuming and soft-spoken that he just passed by most people without them ever knowing who he was. He deserved a hell of a lot more recognition than he got, but he didn’t look like it bothered him all that much. Rest in peace, JJ. ❤🤘

I just love seeing him playing with his life long partner Christine!! They eventually married in the 90s....she sure loved him equally too- Sure wish he was here with us....

Another rare treat! Love his acoustic playing as well. Some of the songs he truly pics on with an acoustic are fantastic. King City comes to mind, and Drifter's Wife, etc. Wish there was an entire album of those. ☮
