The love between J.J. and Reid is more than romantic love or friend love or even sibling like love. It’s like soulmate love. It transcends definition.

@@taylorphinney6711 I think of them both as being complete people. But they are happier with the other one. I don't know if I wanted them to end up together as a couple. I wanted Reid to find somebody but I guess I just feel like if you try to pin down their relationship you kill it.

If we had a full season (14 more episodes) and another season, I wouldn't have been surprised if they killed off Will in a few episodes. Then next season JJ and Reid would get together. Looking back it was so clear how JJ and Reid felt and how much closer they were to each other than the others especially after Gideon's character left the show.

Agreed. Apparently they were originally going to kill Will off in season 7, but because Emily left at the same time, they decided against it...

Criminal Minds ruined 15 years of great chemisty between JJ and Reid, no matter how long this show was going to be on the air, JJ and Will was never going to have chemistry that JJ and Reid had. Reid would never had the same chemistry with Meave, or Max like he did with JJ.

I like Will. How could you not? His accent, New Orleans, what...i just can't believe they let this linger this long. Reid could have moved on long ago. Now we only get to see it for a few episodes.

I kinda agree with the chemistry part, which i don't feel it between reid and this max.. imo that crazy Cat Adams from season 11 (not that i want reid to be with her but) had more chemistry with reid than max..maybe also because they squeezed her in just to fill the "reid would not be alone anymore" part, but still i just don't feel it

I wish Matthew and AJ would accept a crowdfunded thing for them to make an outside video together that puts JJ and Spencer together and monetize it on Matthew's KZfaq channel. Maybe the DVD will have an alternate ending for us. Because dammit, sometimes you marry and have kids with the wrong person...I think maybe even Will deep down knows he's just lucky as hell and that's it.

I totally agree with most of you here, Jeid is my endgame, too. I wished it had been spelled out more, and I'm grateful for what we did get, but I don't see any chemistry with Max, and it's OFF THE CHARTS with JJ and Reid. They are my heart.

Yes the chemistry between Will and JJ just isn’t there, it never was they’re whole relationship seemed force like it took her getting pregnant for him to propose and then it took him getting shot and nearly blown up for them to go through with it

After watching this show, I realize I am so much like Hotch. Barely smiles, has no sense of humor, and is often alone working in silence. However, with the team, they bring such a smile to his face that is indescribable. The same happens with me it is unbelivable. I know this show is all fiction, but I have such an emotional connections with them all, they make me feel alive, and loved, and welcome...

I understand why the writers had to end it the way they did. They had NO TIME to get rid of Will and have JJ and Reid be together. Now, that being said, the way they ended it ensured that JJ just destroyed Reid. You tell him he is your first love, have always loved him, and will always love him. Then tell him you WILL NOT give up Will and her boys.(I get the boys, but you don't love Will as you do Reid) So not only do you confess to Reid your true feelings but tell him basically go to hell. Reid and Max will be done in 6 months and he will become just a shadow of his former self. He will cut JJ and everyone else from the BAU out of his life forever. He will than turn all that sorrow into anger and hate for JJ and her family. When the two boys start to ask where Uncle Spence is, why do we not see him anymore? JJ is going to LIE to her boys about why. They will as they get older find him and get answers and Reid will tell them the truth as to what happened and to never contact him again. They in turn will go to their mother and tell her everything and the look on her face will prove it to be true. So they will lose a lot of respect for her and Will. Which in turn will destroy their family in the end. She can blame herself for it. Now I never liked them bringing in Will to be her love interest when A.J. Cook got pregnant with her first child. I always thought that it should have been Reid. They had a believable back story for them being together since back in the first season with the Redskins game date. With the following episodes up to season 3 episode HEAT, when they ruined it. They could even played off the no fraternization rule with the FBI. It didn't have to be that realistic and an exception could have been made for it, no problem. Just my thoughts and God I love JJ/Reid as a soulmate couple. Thank God for fanfiction!

usrob1 no, it's funny that you should mention FanFiction. Ever since the CM series ended, I've been reading FanFiction CM stories and what you've been saying sounds very similar to an alternate universe CM story I once read where Reid left JJ and the BAU forever after hearing her "first love" confession at the hospital. If I remember it correctly, Reid took his mom away from DC, met Maxine wherever it was he had moved to, married her and had 3 or 4 kids with her. Then, ten to fifteen years later, Reid bumped into JJ. She was miserable and alone. She told Reid that Will had overheard that "first love" confession at the hospital and then he divorced her. And JJ was wondering all those years why Reid had "pulled a Gideon" and just left Quantico without saying goodbye. Reid said because he wasn't going to ruin her marriage to Will. And now that Reid was happily married with kids of his own, he got angry and told JJ that if she really loved him, she wouldn't have invited Garcia along with them to that Redskins game. And now he refused to follow in his father's footsteps and leave his wife, Max for JJ. Whoever wrote that story was a real JJ hater! Fortunately, I've read three other Jeid stories where JJ and Reid were endgame. During the quarantine, I've even wrote a 10 chapter Jeid story of my own where Will had died a heroic death saving JJ, Henry and Michael's lives from Izzy Rogers. Reid above all else had helped JJ pick up the pieces afterwards and JJ decided to give their love for each other a second chance. It's called "Second Chances (JJ and Reid) revised" if you haven't read it.

I don't know why I'm not ready to accept that girl in Reid's life. Maybe cause there were so Obscure and vivid and tormenting moments that there's the one near him who is meant for him, but it was too much doubt and something sacred between them to open up and start anew. I don't know how to explain. I don't know much about soulmates and cant be sure whether JJ and Reid are.. But they say, and it's represented in here as I feel, that sometimes your soulmate is somewhere there on the edge of the world you ll never meet, or he or she is too close to reach him out..

Criminal minds is about catching serial killers not pairing up regular cast members. All there relationships are/ were with recurring cast members ie. Haley, Kevin, Will, Savannah, Rossi’s wives, Mendoza and Maxine. Putting two regulars together is just wrong and would definitely never happen with fraternization rules in government jobs!!!

Imo, this fake "love story" came out of nowhere. JJ (the REAL heart of Team BAU) was just as close with her partner Morgan. So I must believe honest JJ was keeping this 'secret to the grave' while she was pregnant or later wanted Will to propose? How many years were they both single? What made this gruesome CM show great is how the original team was FAMILY. And family members don't sleep with each other. *Great edited video Angela Lindsey.*

The Oracle k JJ never Gave Reid a thought till she realized he could and did find someone to love ....that shook her to know Reid wasn’t waiting around Like a love sick puppy for her while she married had kids live her life thinking Reid was or so she thought he was waiting for her......and now she always loved him????? Right .. how many times did she tell others with rolling eyes how he is always spouting off!!! Or treat him like a child!!!! No she can’t stand that Reid can find love and it doesn’t INVOLVE HER!!!
