that was from united rentals. Fuel filters and grease motor oil and filters turntable grease, planetary hub oil and dry lube boom telescope slide areas. Not much else to do. Keep an eye on hoses wires in cable tray on side if boom. Also check tension on cables inside boom grease pulleys in there. JLG ,Genie both good made in USA .. Good luck

The led in lower box flashes a morse code as a trouble code number. Which symbol is it ? I use good quality antifreeze and distilled water only. Code reader does nor read CAT (perkins ) motor. Check the crank sensor on rear bell housing for metal chips on magnet cause of mine going haywire. Shalom

@@MitzvosGolem1 thanks for the reply! It's the engine symbol on the platform display(bottom middle symbol). The engine runs smoothly it doesn't have the issues that yours did with throttling but should the engine rev up when you are using functions? Like when you increase the function speed at the platform and then use a function should it rev up a little? Mine just stays at an even speed without revving.

@@dhag1745 Engine symbol means are "low oil pressure, Overheating set that lamp typically. Check connection s on sending units for engine oil pressure and temperature for broken wires or corrosion etc. All JLG manuals online for free. Pin out all wires from upper through harness to lower control junction. Use a test light put small amp load on each wire. Disconnected from Upper and lower boxes.

That may have a gasGM 4cylinder efi motor . Check for good spark at plug and power to spark module and for fuel pressure . I had one not start it was ignition module . These are more reliable than old Ford Power junk. See if it starts on starting fluid if so Electric fuel pump issues. You should here electric fuel pump running next to plastic fuel tank it's silver inline pump 60psi .

What engine Deutz? JLG has free service and parts troubleshoot guides online.

On back by pump where hinge to swing motor out wires were broke . Get a JLG scanner about $750 Check double micro switches One open one closed in foot pedal and Joystick wires in upper for loose connection etc . When foot pedal pressed green light on upper console should come on . Also small green LED on Computer in lower by key switch flash trouble code in Morse code. @@MitzvosGolem1 yes, the only code it is reading is 3+3. I tried to find that on the Internet and all I could find was a generic “engine stress“ code 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@bradwhalen2000 what is it doing Which engine also? Check plug pins on upper control box and look for broken wires in the long harness going down boom to lower box. Older machine s wires break in harness where it turns bends pinches etc

Yes i got one. But the it doesnt interface with Deutz or CAT engines. I have CAT ET which only does 75% . You have to pay dealer to scan repair newer equipment. They charged me $1000 just to come scan a newer CAT 308 excavator . No repair just scan. This is common now and should be illegal. Right to repair act .
