It makes me really sad that this is where session has got to. After watching it grow from a kickstater build through to now yet so many features just got scrapped to push out a 1.0 release. Some bugs have been in the game for years with nothing being done to address them. Unless a big feature/fix update comes soon I have little hope for this game ever being close to what was promised all those years ago on kick starter.

I not too sure how I feel about glasses in this game, it’s cool but it doesn’t say much about your style, I feel like if they added more clothing options like flannels, overcoats, and different hairstyles it would go a long way

I wanna see different style selections like we had in skate 3 (huntched, agressive, etc) would just make the game feel alittle more lively to be able to do tricks in a style you perfer

Yea def new hairstyles some clean dreads, a nice lil faded Afro, or some cornrows. Maybe some new merch from each company in the game and add a few more shoe brands like Nike SB dunks blazers and janoskis, Vans High top low top old schools and the authentics and half cabs, Lakais, Na-Kel Smith Adidas and Tyshawns as well. Like so much more can be added clothing wise more pants more t shirts hoodies and hats I could go on.

Since I bought the last DLC, part of me feels like my money hasn't gone to the core gameplay fixes I was hoping for. Crea-ture seems to keep adding in features, but at the cost of forgetting about other unfinished mechanics before they ever get fixed. There are so many tricks I can't do without my board disassembling midair, I can't play at my preferred framerate while getting the correct board flip/scoop speed (even when it's set to Auto), and I can't do tech skating combos without running into issues. It just currently isn't a realistic skating sim for high-skill skating.

Content update is what could be done at the moment. We still have the list of core fixes and want to improve on gameplay when we can are able to get to working on it.

Session will never change. What we have now is what we're stuck with. The devs will never make any real changes to the core gameplay.

New map is alright. Still doing the missions for the new DLC, some cool spots, but I would rather have a city map or school. Honestly for $13 plus the other $13 for the old dlc plus the game, that’s $86. Stupid. Are they going to make you buy map’s every time? I love session, but I’m not loving having to pay more money every time a new map comes out. That’s pretty lame imo. The new map is not worth $13, should have been free.

also, is there any plans to add that white rail that appears at 11:38 to the diy object shop? it's so fun to skate, the length makes it good for putting across gaps and the low vertical clearance makes it great for combining with other obstacles

I don’t like that the new mission tracker prevents you from switching sides and that you have to toggle it off in order to switch camera view sides. Who’s bright idea was that? It’s so annoying

@@JLNightmare its a design oversigh from my point of view not a bug. But please put it on the list of changes, its super frustrating. You basicly cant have your mission requirements on screen. You constantly need to open and hide the mission UI when you want to switch the shoulder cam, otherwise you start swapping through available missions.

I honestly love skating the DLC Waterpark map. As an aside, the map looks eerily similar to an Amusement Park here in Washington State called WildWaves, which is where I spent my summers as a little kid. Adding to the creepiness, in the back parking lot of WildWaves, there are 6 stairs, just like the ones you have to pop over in the Stairway to Hell Mission!

This is kool, was thinking of buying it but I'll wait for a sale. Not paying $20 for a map and Chris Cole. Honestly, more than new spots, I'd really prefer if they'd complete the skating physics already. There's no vert, grabs, no complys, boneless tricks or anything outside strict street skating. Plenty of completely unplayable pools and vert ramps in the game. If this map was in Tony Hawk or Skate those slides would function as quarter pipes too, there's so much missing from what it's like to actually skate still. Maybe if enough people buy this dlc though they'll have the funds to make a throwdown animation.

If you have RMS tool enabled, then that makes missions disappear. Open mod manager and at the bottom under the map preview photo you’ll see a checkbox next to RMS. Uncheck it and load session

Back before one of the updates you used to be able to manual up a bank and come back down switch nose manual automatically can they bring that back?? Also I would like to see some ditch levels we can skate

You need to change your inputs while coming back to be Switch. Example; if you’re using Left Foot Right foot inputs, regular stance, you’ll hold right stick half way down for the manual then right when you start going back down move your right stick to be Half UP to stay in Fakie manual. If you’re using front foot back foot inputs, you’ll hold right stick half down to manual, let go of the input and push the Left stick UP just as you’re coming back down. Takes some time to get used to the timing of this, but that’s how manual revert to manual or manual up to Fakie manual down works now.

Hey JL can you help me real quick? I recently started playing manual catch (Just for the trophy) and when I pop some tricks and I try to catch it would sometimes say “Late one foot flip, or one foot flip.” Sometimes my character just randomly bails w/o the board touching him, He just randomly bails. P.S I love ur videos dude I always get a good laugh.

This happens because you are flicking the catch input in the wrong direction. You want to flick Down on front foot to catch with front foot, or Up on back foot to catch with back foot. The way you’re doing it now (front foot Up or back foot down) is telling the game you want to late flip or one foot after the flip. As for the character bailing, it means you didn’t catch at the right time. Wait till griptape is facing up towards the feet then input for catch

Why are manuals so glitchy? Landing in a manual only works about 1% of the time. Also there are so many simple things that I would love to see added. They added all these new trucks but there are no size options for any of them. And added SPitfires but no conicals or any options on shape. There should be somewhere you can see ALL of your saved replays (not just from one specific map). I thought the TV in the apartment was going to be used for watching replays you've saved

I just play this game when I want to walk down memory lane, its great just to hit some rails and ledges. However it needs some serious intervention with mechanical issues popping up when flipping into grinds and out of them it does not always look realistic. That being said I dont regret buying it and I would rather play this over the other skating games on offer.

I don’t understand why this is a paid DLC, or why we are okay with it. I don’t believe the money they’ve gotten from Liquid Death, or from the past paid DLC has gone back into development at all. We still have poor optimization, lackluster/minimal customization, even the truck bounce glitch is still here somehow! It feels like Creature has just been stagnant for months now. Very little has been done for the core gameplay, while they ask you to pay for a map and a couple boards? It’s been hard to be excited about Session in 2023, and I think what we have here is basically the final product, sadly.

I’m on the double grind part.. I need some help, when cole wanted me to do the tail slide on the rail I kept popping out the right side instead of the left to make it look natural, I kept going into the ditch.. Any help would be awesome!

There’s a tutorial in the description on how to do double grinds. For the tailslide you don’t need to pop out, just turn your body and rotate out

@@JLNightmare I just did the double grinds now on the gaps, I know I can just roll out but even on the double grind part when I have to pop out it keeps sending me to the grass area.. the trick I did is a 5.0 to fs or bs noseslide pop out, I want to pop out to the left but it keeps sending me to the right

Cole is one of my favorite skaters and anything zero or fallen I’m instantly there for it 🤘🏻🤘🏻

In the middle of Philly. When you are in map select, push left or right to change cities and you’ll see Philly locations, SFC locations and if you have DLC map you’ll have extra network

You need to go to the shop on Xbox and buy it. Search for Session and you should see the list of available DLC to buy

Is there a possibility of something like a season pass for future DLC? It would be nice to have it bundled for an easy, one time purchase and downloaded as soon as it’s available. I think a content map would be pretty rad too along with more polish on the primos and caspers (Just my two cents for the future). Otherwise, I’m loving all the content and just got done breaking my first board. 🔥🤙🔥

Go to map select, then push left or right on the D pad to get to Extra Network and you’ll see the DLC maps there (this is shown and explained in the video)

I can't lie I never play anymore cus ever since 1.0 nearly 98% of every attempt to leave the ground ends in me doing a manual. Fast or slow. Perfectly strait down or not. I can't even just skate around and pop up curbs anymore.

deluxe edition was just a bundle pack for base game plus Warm Up pack DLC. You have to buy all other DLC separate.

JL plz do 1 more transition video in depth like showing how to do each basic grind. I've started to finally figure out how to get into tricks without popping on the lip but feebles n nose n tail slides still giving me issues.

Fun map and happy to support the devs. This game has come a long way and I play it just like I used to play THPS as a kid, which is to say all the freakin time. Sometimes I play as a background thing where I'm just keeping my hands busy and killing time, and sometimes I like making the settings hard and having something like a battle. I personally like this business model where I can choose the individual pieces of content I want to play, but I think $10 would have been the perfect price point. Or maybe split the map and skater. Mostly happy with it though.

they probably got maybe 1 or 2 more of these money grab updates before people compare them to easyday.. we need gameplay fixes.. the game can look amazing and great.. after trying the same line over and over because its just too hard to get smooth.. a lot of it has to do with the turning.. games fun for about 15 minutes then its the same old thing..

Hey btw i just noticed that if you hold start now, it brings up the advanced options menu rather of just start menu with a single tap. Not sure if ive seen that yet in a vid but there ya go
