I am so glad someone else was trying to "figure out" the JLo documentary! I too was like um ok, you had a hard knocked life...and what new revelations are you sharing? This is what irked me. I too am Latina, but not from the bronx so maybe less important..ha. Anyhow, so all of a sudden she cares about the "community" and the Latino struggles? Not once have I seen her name associated with donations to any of the key groups. I mean are there JLo Hispanic College Fund donations I am unaware of? Or like if she wants to stay local, a drama/dance school scholarship for NYC Latino's or A funding of a community college program aimed at underrepresented kids? I have not heard a peep of this type of community support in the last 20 years...but because she did a show w/ kids in cages....now she is like our community spokesperson? hmmm. Long story short Bardot went from two women with a small clothing boutique to a huge franchise that’s doing well to this day. ✌️♥️
