My dad the day he got home from VIETNAM he was at the hill climb. Told his friend to pick him up when he got off the plane and they went straight to the hill climb. Told his family if you want to see me meet me there. They did, they watched him compete too. He was hill climbing on a motorcycle in the late 1950s. I bet this guy was using his weight and the back tire movement.

I'd like see that try again but in the didn't make it, nothing injured but a little pride preferably. 😂 I wonder if one attempt was all he tried? Two successful attempts, with a helmet, if successful would sorta take the just lucky out of it a little bit. I'd like to see another try.

Tried that on a rinky dink 200cc with street tires 😂 5 hours later I was stuck in a rut and a farmer and his son had to break out his own dirt bike. I rode pillion on the dirt bike driven by the son while the farmer drove my "powerful" bike. So yes, this does put a smile on my face.

Nah bro, most bikes doing climb hills are like 250, 500cc that man’s on probably a 750 cc with way more torque and power then a normal dirtbike. If he had dirt tires on his motorcycle he could easily climb a hill 2x as big as that one.

Old motorcyles and 4 wheelers were geared super low. I had a factory no suspension 1983/84 kawasaki 110 4 wheeler. I could ride it straight up a mountain side, feet standing on rear bar, both hands on handlebar. 1st gear like a sticky spider.
