Thought Javy Lopez would be a good pick, but he "only" had 150 hits in his monster 2003. Somehow he hit 43 HR in just 129 games

Dumb question but how do they handle for division changes in this game? They added a central division in the 90s. I forget whether there was always an East/west before then. Is it just what division the team is in now? Like the Astros moved from the NL central to the AL west.
