Fun fact that I recently experienced in the non-refill challenge: it is possible to lose and only drop one point. That's what happens when you lose by running out of cards. In this case, we were both running Chunky Blast Offs and Boy Crazy decks and it stalemated.

Really solid video MagicianJaso. Your videos does a great job of covering every aspect of the game and I don’t think anyone could have done it better. Myself and many other people will be sad to see you leave AT. You were a phenomenal and dedicated AT content creator as well as asset to the community. But I understand if you are feeling burnt out and your health, financial and personal situation should come first before anybody else’s entertainment. Good Luck in anything you do and thank you for covering AT for the length that you did.

Ok I am a bit late but I have actually got a tactic that actually works well to get like 3-4 legendary cards a month or even more. So first of all, I do my daily quests to get 20 gems and I do one survey a day as well so thats about 50 gems a day. If 200 is a box then it will take 4 days to get that box but you don't always get a legendary. Another tip is to grind the heck out of arena and challenges. Also, there is sometimes a milestone thing that you do every month and you can get 2 legendarys at least. Furthermore, when you are researching combos watch 3 ads to reduce the time of those combos. One more thing is that save up all your coins until the end of the month. At the end of the month, you should have lots of coins for me like 400k and open lots of epic packs because those actually have a good chance at getting a legendary.

Doug Benjamin I definitely never expected it to grow as big as it has from Animation Throwdown. But I stoked that it has and can’t wait to expand to the newer games and hopefully really grow the channel to insane heights. I’ll of course always remember you and everyone else who’s been here since the early days even when the channel reaches 100,000s of subscribers. Every now and again I’ll see a comment from people that I remember from back when I only had 100 subscribers and it makes me feel so happy that they’re still here.

Glad to hear it helped. If you’re looking to build a following on KZfaq, just be yourself. Find what makes you unique and interesting and bring it to life in your content. People will watch and subscribe if they enjoy the content, so as long as you’re passionate about what you’re making and can make it entertaining, the fan base will come in time. Specifically for Throwdown though, you’ll have hurdles in the form that it’s a pretty small niche game, and an old one at that. No one is searching for videos of the game unless they’re currently playing the game. I’m not sure how many people still play it, but I’m positive it’s way less than the amount that used to back when I still did.

You may have accidentally turned on auto play. During battle look at the top right of the screen. If the button for auto play is turned on (looks sort of like a play or fast forward button ⏩) just click it to turn it off.

It's been awhile since I first started playing the game so I don't remember how long exactly it took me, but if you play consistently each day and focus on knocking out your challenges and quest lines, as well as completing the adventure islands, it shouldn't take more than a couple weeks I think for that. A month tops, but I don't think it would take a whole month for a green deck

You can’t add a trait on to an existing card. Cards come pre-defined. Some characters have a traits, others don’t. The only way to influence traits is by comboing in battle. In your case, you have to combo Chris in battle with an Athletic item, that he’s able to combine with that you have already researched, to play him as an athletic combo.

I've been enjoying playing this for a couple of weeks and am pretty strong for my level. After watching this video I've decided to delete the app. I was heavy into galaxy of heroes for years and it got to where if you wasn't spending $50,000 or more a year you couldn't do shit. I am not rich or stupid enough to spend that kind of money if I was... and not going through that frustration again.

One point. You repeatedly pronounced the coins as Nix-ons. As these coins reference Fururama which itself references former American President Richard Nixon, the proper pronunciation is closer to Nix-in.

Nope, back when I still played virtually none of the enemy guilds I came across ran an American Dad island. I also didn’t have enough American Dad cards to make a full deck so for the few opponents that did run the island, my guild had me hit elsewhere.

The guild lock should be lifted on Monday for you after siege ends. You’ll have until rumble starts on Thursday before it locks again 🙂

Y'know, I don't mind losing. But if every loss you experience is because you're dealt a really shitty useless hand; well, then that fkn sucks. Especially if the mission you're doing requires 4 energy points, and you only got 10 total. Meaning you get two tries, and then you gotta wait a whole day for the bar to fill up again 🤦‍♂️

Unfortunately no. While you are playing against decks that are made by other players, it’s the computer playing their decks against you when you’re playing.

Biggest tip is spend a ton of money. It's unfortunate that this is a very pay to win game. It's fun, but you're really kinda stuck unless you have thousands of dollars to spend.

Yup, dropped the game as well. Too much pay to win crap. And the fact the top guild basically requires you to buy tier boxes to be part of it. I understand why MagicianJaso finally gave up this game.

this video is such a joke and so is this game.. pick the card combo mastery that matches your hand yeah in a perfect world... it only gives you a random combo that you dont even have to master.. ive never seen game that at a certain point the rewards are so USELESS...
