Not surprised that my boy Amingo took the tournament. It's the obvious outcome, really.

I would love to see a Tatsunoko vs Capcom tourney in the future. That was the first and last fighting game I tried to actually get good at before realizing people online are way better than me lol

Capcom vs SNK 2 would be sweet, I'm sure people in the community would be familiar enough with the characters but seeing the different grooves would be fun :)

I like the 7 points rule. It makes for more character variety and much more fun too watch.

Love watching the tournaments! a game I'd like to see in the jm cup would be samsho 5s just because its a much slower game as opposed to some of the super fast games that have been in these tournaments

I use to binge play MVC2 in Cali. Makes me miss the arcades that have closed over the years or now turned into museums. The weirdest part of watching this is how slow the movements are in this tourney. XD But it's for fun and not for rush down so I get it. Amingo is a very versatile character. My old teams aren't in this stream so I'm glad knowing tech is missing. There was a KZfaq collage for MVC2 you can still find for optimized combos. Cool video as usual. I can't wait to see how much you push the game.

Recently discovered the jank that is "Sonic the Fighters", would be hella interesting to see what your community does with it. The awful thing about Marvel 2 is how absolutely boring it is to see broken ass characters like Sentinel win every time. The 7 point thing surely brought in some more faces to the pool but in the end Sentinel still fucked everyone up. It was nice to see Amingo and my boi Jin but that's the extent of the interesting play happening, lmao

you guys should play The Rumble fish 2 which is an old obscure anime fighter. the combo system and meter usage is super weird and leads to fun moments so it’d fun to see yall play. love your content!

Amingo and Anakaris are my favorite oddball characters so seeing them clash in the finals was a treat. The ratio system was the best thing to happen to this game in ages.

Idk if you strictly stick to 2d fighters, but seeing a star gladiator ( plasma sword), or tech romancer tournament would be dope!

I want to see the legends of this game playing this mode and also the mode of only low/mid tiers banning stolen assists but allowing the characters if they are mids ( ban assist for me is: Psylock AA, Cyke AA, Tron Proj and Comando AA ). Legends like Yipes, Justin Wong, Matrix, Duc Do, etc.

Is this through fight cade? Or another way to play mvc2. I really want to play it but fight cade never works for me. I don't even wanna play online just mainly messing with cpus

It's nice to see the characters actually get to fight, instead of getting insta- blown up from random TODs. Marvel should have a ratio rule by default imo.

I'm here to inform everyone that Amigo has been upgraded to 5 points.

Have you ever tried this team made up of Stryder, Megaman, and Guile? I know neither is considered top tier characters. But if you fillup the super meter and can get an opponent to a corner and activate the team combo. You can almost defeat a blocking opponent. Guile's super sonic boom hits multiply times, Megaman's Super battle suit keeps them from jumping over and hits multiply times also. Finally with Stryder, his orb defense can be activated along side his robot dragons. By keeping this up till the meter runs out, almost 2/3 of meter is wiped out just with them blocking with no way to escape it by jumping over.

I’ve never played MvC2, only UMvC3. But this game looks fun as hell. No cap.
