I forgot how perfect Jo was for this conversion. She grew up without a home. She knew how lucky Pru was to get the chance of such wonderful parents.

It's really sweet that Miranda and Ben took on an extra kid you can see she stole Bailey's heart instantly. She'll grow up with Joey and Tuck to protect her (and we all saw how protective Joey was of his foster siblings) and as Jo said she won't be lost to the foster system. It sucks to lose Dean but Pru will be ok with the baileys and warrens

When Jo was telling Miranda how lucky Pru is to have Ben and her as her Godparents, she reflected how she would have loved to have people like Miranda and Ben as a parentless child. Which said a lot to Miranda who is this very strong, but loving person, I do think Miranda and Ben will be able to keep Pru.

It’s *that* moment. That exact moment where your heart goes “screw you brain. I *need* to be a Mamma to this child” Maybe you’re the only Mamma that child needs ever, maybe you’re a mamma for a little or maybe it’s somewhere in between but there’s that moment. While my foster son was 12 when he came to live with us but I knew. There was a moment. All the practical things would wait. Right now he needed us, there in that moment. My husband called me and said “he’s got no where to go tonight” and I said “yes he does. We’ll make it work”.

Baileys motherly instincts kicked in right away, I love that

This scene just breaks my heart. Pru, only 2 years old, and already was abandoned by her mom and lost her dad. She will be loved and cared for, but she is still an orphan.

Honestly, Bailey has gone through so much pain, loss and tragedy and yet has a near infinite well of compassion and a huge heart she hides behind walls to protect herself, so she is pretty much the epitome of the perfect mother and role-model to someone starting out in life and has already lost so much, like Pru. We need more Bailey's and Ben's in the world, they are far too few.

i LOVE where Pru is with Bailey and Ben but I felt REALLY bad because that must’ve been so overwhelming for Bailey, obviously she wanted to make the right choice but in this clip there was so much going on I don’t know how Bailey didn’t have a panic attack right there

I was upset when they showed the promo for this episode I thought Ben was going to die but this melted my heart

K this is what happened to me with my daughter. Had 2 miscarriages and a failed adoption. Went away to try to heal with my husband and we get a call about a baby girl badly abused. I had so many fears and hurts and said I just couldn't. I was in another province as well so I couldn't just return to get her . So they called my mom who was a foster mom as well. They just KNEW she wasn't going to go back to her abusers based on injuries and other factors and knew this would be my daughter. I couldn't believe the nerve they had to call her!! My mom took her and I was pretty upset with her. My mom said just meet her and see. I met her four days later. I looked at her and she was shaking (from drug withdrawl and absolute terror at being touched) and I took her in my arms and promised her I would do all I could to help her feel safe again. She was such a silent one. Never cried so I set my alarm for every 2 hours to feed her at night and she'd be wide eyed just waiting and hoping but silent. My heart broke for her every day. When we'd had her about five weeks, she cried and my husband, parents, and myself broke down crying too because we knew she was ready to let go and accept love and she felt safe. It took 3 years in foster care with us until we were able to adopt her. Worth everything. She's now 23 and feisty as all get out (we MAY have gone a little overboard with letting her speak her mind unafraid LOL). Lucky I got to be her mama bear and that she's mine!
