Jo Mange Thakur Apne Te (Sarangi Version)
This recording was done live in December 2019. Piano was later added in California. Like most of my productions, it took many months to mix. Much thanks to Ahsan Ali, Gaurav Dhingra and Aman Kakkar for their contributions on this project.
Who is Govind?
Guru Arjan sings of the Govind whose power spreads in all four directions. He feels like Govind's hand is on his head.

Whatever the Lord's slave Nanak utters with his mouth, proves to be true, here and hereafter.

It's almost past midnight . My two year old twins are down with fever and bad cough. We are awake and listening to all your Shabads. Has calmed them and the moment one shabad stops,they say Babaji ?They want to hear your voice only .You have a beautiful voice. Thank you for singing so beautifully and helping us to remember ,pray and surrender ourselves to the one and only Akal Purakh.

@@shivpreetmusic I lived in Bay Area and never heard you or about you - Back in India & came across your Kirtans (starting with Raghunath when I was feeling very alone - Sang Sakha sab Taj gaye.. Koe na nibhaya Saath) as a Sanatani and the BHAAV/ FEEL - not just voice is so deep.. Shared your tracks with a Sikh friend in SF (after 1-2 years of discovering them) & he said you were based in SF and he's seen you at Gurudwara. I missed a chance even though in the area. The FEEL / BHAAV is so true.. deep.. Guru Kripa. Hope to catch you next I am in SF.

Listening to Shabad and gurbani is a wonderful blessing my mother said to me after finishing her prayers,but what are you going to change today and now,I said mum l don’t gamble smoke or do drugs and work hard,don’t even buy lottery tickets.Mum said you drink wine alcohol is alcohol lead by example for other members off your family and your two children.So on the 29 Dec 2013 emptied every bottle down the drain outside the road cleaned the house.Now every person around me is doing the same especially the youngsters using there energies in education and playing instruments.Thankyou Waugh Guru Ji for this 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I love this Shabad immensely. Whenever I can I attend kirtans at the Gurudwara though I am a Catholic as I find the same peace and serenity of heart as I do in Church here in the gurudwara. God in any language or religion is one. I find Shabads especially bring one closer to the almighty.

I am listening for some ironical reasons.i was born after 4daughters to mother after she sought blessings from dera of baba budha ji.who advises her to sing the bhajan at feeding time,but since childhood faced troubles like diseases,family problem,poverty,difficulties in education,career ,conspiracies by mother and sisters when marriagable,changing profession,troublesome wife.at 50 i sometimes think at what age i shoud leave this world

I was born hindu but I follow sikhism. I learned how to write punjabi and when I read holy books I really get the peace and harmony. I went to dixie gurudwara and we have the museum and I feel the pain and torture which was done by Muslim emperors.

Tarun M All religions of subcontinent are the best compared to Middle Eastern. Which were some what violent towards non believers of their religion, like Islam, I personally don't see much difference in Hindu and Sikh religions, there are more similarities in subcontinent religions.
