As a fan of Nana Mouskouri (since I was a kid) and of Joan Baez, this duet is something I never ever expected to see, almost like a dream come true.

I was brought up in Exclusive Brethren and we were not allowed to listen to non- Christian music, but I heard Joan Baez singing on my neighbour’s radio and I have been a fan of hers ever since.

Wow. Two supreme vocalists. This is just amazing.

Love them both. I put on my mothers records as a kid, Joan Baez always stayed with me. Nana is such a classy lady and performer, she loves Joan and her music.

Have had the pleasure of seeing both these ladies perform. And I was twice blessed.

I saw Nana in Berlin in the 70s and she sang scarlet ribbons without any accompaniment and it made me cry it was soooooo beautiful.

Two great Divas. I met Joan the 1st time in Caracas on May 31, 1981 and twice on Carnegie Hall in 1998. I met Nana in Caracas but don´t remember the date. I enjoyed them so much. But lovely Joanie is my favourite one. God bless her forever!.

Love Joan; Love Nana. "Plaisir D'Amour" is a powerful song just right for both sets of pipes. I've been privileged to see both ladies in concert, Nana in her wonderful homeland even -- a homeland which she so generously assists in its time of need. Bravo! 11/2018

I played a recording of "Plaisir D'Amour" to a group of Americans a little while ago. Their immediate reaction was one of shock. They could not comprehend the idea that this is an original which was composed during a previous century. As far as they were concerned, the melody to this song will forever "belong" to Elvis because of "Can't Help Falling In Love With You." It's sad that so many Americans can't (or don't want to) stretch their minds outside of this country and current time period. That especially goes for today's younger generation. Many of them consider "history" as being what happened last year! They couldn't care less about 50 or 100 years ago, or more. If it's on the pop-charts this month, they'll passionately eat it up with joy: whereas anything older, that's for "us old people," and by "old" they mean about 30 and older. I've come across this so many times in my dealings in American society.

Two of the most beautiful and talented musicians that I love. They could sing any song and it would sound naturally beautiful. To say the least. Thank you for posting this classic. Very grateful.

Wow - I love Nana Mouskouri! Her voice is angelic. Then recently I heard Joan's Donna Donna and thought 'Well, that's nice - she sounds like Nana'. And here they are! Love their voices! Wow!
