I'm not positive, but it looks like the word Seventeen is on the wall, which makes me think that's it's something sponsored by Seventeen Magazine. A Google search didn't reveal any TV show sponsored by them in the 50s, so it might be a special or something else completely.

The map is of Iowa. the '5' is tv Channel 5, which had a show called "Seventeen". The exact place was Ames ,Iowa. The year was probably 1958.
