They price them high so it seems like a deal when they go 50% off. I usually get things when they are on 50% off plus a 20% off coupon.

I stopped shopping at Joann's regularly a long time ago. I only go in there when I want sewing patterns and they are on sale for $.99. Even their "clearance" prices tend to be outrageous.

Thanks for showing more farmhouse decor. I’ve been there twice on Saturdays and some of the current seasonal stuff was on sale for 60% off. I really like their decor but without sales and coupons it is very pricey.

I agree with you. They have nice stuff but without a sale or a coupon, it's not worth their prices. You can find similar and just as nice at Big Lots and Walmart or make yourself if you're crafty.

A MANAGER AT MICHAEL'S TOLD ME AFTER I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PRICES THAT THE PRICE HIKES ARE DUE TO THE NEW TARIFFS. OF COURSE THEY WANT TO MAKE THE SAME PROFITS AS BEFORE, SO THE CONSUMER GETS STUCK WITH PAYING MORE AS USUAL. THE AMERICAN WAY!!!

JoAnns prices are high. Sign up for their emails though, u get a big coupon like 60% every other day for one item. So I use it if I buy the Home Decor. I have a beach themed bedroom and got some stuff before but NOT without my email coupons. They do have cute decor!

What the hell?!?!! How can you afford to shop there, girl? I am new to an area where there is Joann's, but have wanted to take a trip in. Not going to waste my hard earned francs on items that are far and above an average pricing structure for Central Texas incomes. It is the Dollar stores and Hobby Lobby with coupons and clearance, for me and mine. Thanks for clueing us in! I appreciate your shopping diversity, and your commentary. Well done.

I think there's something up with your Joann's cause I've seen many of those same items at my Joann's and they are at least half those prices if not even less. Maybe it's cause California? I don't know but those prices are crazy

JOANN'S IS WAY OUT OF LINE WITH THEIR REGULAR PRICING. THEY DO THIS SO THAT WHEN THEY HAVE A "SALE" YOU ARE GETTING CLOSER TO WHAT THE PRICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!! I DO NOT FALL FOR THAT LIKE SOME PEOPLE MIGHT. IT IS SUCH A GAME WITH THEM. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, IT IS ONLY A SALE AT JA WHEN EVERYTHING IS FINALLY MARKED DOWN TO 70% OFF. IF MORE PEOPLE WOULD STOP SHOPPING THERE FOR DECOR, MAYBE THEY WOULD GET THE MESSAGE AND DO A MORE REASONABLE PRICING.
