Joanna is an absolute legend. Carries herself like a true champion and terrorized the division for a long time. Hall of fame for sure. She's done so much for polish mma and women's mma. She certainly doesn't have to worry about being forgotten.

It seems retiring is the best thing that happened to her she looks very happy and full of life more than she already have before I’m happy for her and I wish her luck and happiness in her life.

She did give us fans some exciting fights. Much respect Joanna.

Honestly, because Joanna unfortunately lost more than she won over the last 5 years, it doesn't convey how incredibly she was still doing. She came back and fought Rose, then champion, for 5 rounds after being TKO'd by her the first time, out-striking her. She went up a weight class and lost to Valentina, the arguable (between her and Nunes) Women's GOAT. She (in my opinion) arguably won against then champion Zhang in the most razor thin fight you've ever seen, and then after more than 2 years off immediately returned to fight Zhang again, and while doing well in the striking, was outclassed in the wrestling and eventually shut down on the feet with a beautiful spinning backfist. So, in the last 5 years, she literally only lost to champions. Add in that she defended the belt 5 times unlike Carla who never defended, Rose who's only defended once a time (so twice altogether but not consecutively) and Zhang who's also only defended once and I would definitely say she's still the Strawweight Queen.

Actually I wanna see her in every UFC event, no matter as fighter or guest.

She looks incredibly good

ATT didnt improve her striking skills under the last 2 years, they are the one to blame. ATT has not champions anymore..

I didn't like Johanna much when she fought, when she said bow down to her I thought that was not a good look or attitude. But she was top 5 woman all time & was smart to get out. When her head was twice it's normal size in that one fight I was worried for her.I hate to see woman like that. She looks nice now, has all her wits & much more humble too.Good luck girl!

Please come back Joanna! You're a fantastic fighter and still easily good enough to win your title back. You could do this next year and retire again shortly afterwards. You would then still have plenty of time to do all the other things you want to accomplish in life. If not, thank you for being such a great fighter and champion!
