I rewatch DA over and over again because I miss the characters so much. I've never been so obsessed with a show or felt so involved while watching.

Me too, I'm too embarrassed to say how many times I've watched it on Amazon Prime...I just put it on to relax. The history, scenery, lack of violence and foul language, the clothes, cars, castles, houses, villages, the beautiful table settings at the dinners, it's all spellbinding.

And the historical aspect, such as, the bills Carson dealt with on his desk were ACTUAL bills from that era. The military suits and metals were recreated and some real! Just amazing.

I have to say that I thought that the interviewer was quite skillful in posing interesting questions, and also in the way that she managed the interview. Also, I found the audience members' questions to be interesting. And it was delightful to see how humble and down-to-earth the cast members were. Thank you for this.

I love them all. Every single character on the show you become invested in. I never get hooked on shows. I did not even watch Downton Abbey when it was on tv. I started to binge watch the series on Amazon Prime about two weeks ago. I am addicted. I am on series 5 now. I am going to be sad when I reach the end of the series. This show is perfection.

I just found this interview. So interesting! My grandparents were born in 1889, 1890, 1891, and 1901, about the ages of the Crowley sisters and their generation. The scenes of WWI really got to me. (My GrampaB was seriously injured during the battle at the Argonne Forrest.) I am very much looking forward to the Downton Abbey movie in September. 2019.

I think if they ever decide to do a true FINALE to the show. End the show with all of them during their era, and then slowly fade into the present, showing their grave sites with their names on the headstones, and their deceased date. THERE WOULD BE TEARS.

See him in "Remains of the Day." Beautiful work, beautiful film. He plays a butler with very little self-esteem or self-regard; he devotes his life to his job and finds himself wondering what he's missed as the years go by. Great performance also by Peter Vaughan playing his father and Emma Thompson playing the housekeeper.

Love Downton Abbey, then you will love C.A MacRae's Gemini Complex, The Cabal: After the final demise of the Cathars at Chateau Mount Montségur in the south of France in 1244, a heroic rescue by a Knights Templar took place. Six hundred and fifty-three years later a murder and spate of suspicious deaths of the clergy become linked in the south of France. Flo’s first day (10th November 1918) at Chandringham doesn’t work out quite how she imagined. A bright but humble farm girl finds herself thrust into the upper echelons of society. Rather than being trained in the everyday tasks of a maid, she’s told she needs to leave her old life behind and immerse herself in the life of the aristocracy, as Lady Mary Tavistock. Her world is turned upside down, Flo realises she’s not the person she’s always thought she was and to make matters worse she finds out her life is endangered. In order to make sense of who she really is and what her purpose in life is, she’s sent to Switzerland to meet others of her kind. the first book of a trilogy. It's going to be released later this year.
