However, Joao Gomes struck again just after the hour to help Gary O’Neil’s men secure a valuable win on the road.

João Gomes is a phenomenon, still young but willing to put the team on his back and delivering when needed even if it’s not goals, Neto was unplayable as usual, the back line were compact, Semedo really showed his defensive awareness and Rayan had his moments, Lemina looked pretty alright all around and of course Sá carried us all the way. Good graft as usual, ready to pound Sheffield 💯

Sa carried us all the way? he made 1 decent save others were basically catches, he got beat threw his legs again, I'm not knocking his goalkeeping ability because the saves he does make at times are world class, but his ability with his feet plus the mistakes and keeps getting beat threw the legs he can be a liabity, point to note tho I believe he's won us more points than cost us so can't complain to much

Gomes getting a brace is great and all but can we talk about Pedro “Traore” Neto’s monster run for that counter! He’s giving Adama a run (figuratively and literally) for his money there, and having the foresight to look for support and ping it to Gomes! So glad Neto is back from injury.

It's mind-blowing how many games could be won if teammates just pass the ball instead of going for glory. It's basic reasoning but astonishing when players, even from lower teams, are selfish and miss and bring down their team.
