Many comments where made about dress code, tatoos, etc. As an HR specialist, I can tell you, professional image is still very important. You never get a second chance at a first impression. Statistics reveal that we make a judgement about a person within 3 seconds of seeing them for the first time. If you impress the interviewer within the first few minutes, the rest of the session is in your favor.

I've found out that the most important question to answer for yourself is WHY do you want the job - as soon as you know that you can just GO for it with full confidence. If it were an interview they would have all flopped. Their answers to questions is "prepare". Everyone knows that but the question is how and what to prepare - what sort of area must be covered

Geeze. So much time put into appearance which says very little about anyone's actual ability to do a job. I mean, anyone can wear a costume. You could have saved so much time by simply saying "dress for the job you're applying for." There, done, move on.

It can if the person has never had a job before because then they know what kinds of things they should keep in mind when they do go in for an interview. It can apply to people with and with out a job.

What on earth have Tattoos to do with anyone's ability to do a job. You people are very discriminatory, and NO, I do not have any.

It may not have any effect on the ability to do the job, but most employers do not want to see visible tattoos on the job. Most places do require people to cover any visible tattoos, it's mainly about appearance for the most part.

Requiring no tattoos or telling someone they need to cover up their tattoos is not discrimination.
