In the original novel by Dodie Smith, Perdita was the wet nurse to the original fifteen puppies, Pongo's mate was actually named Missis.

True. Also, the great voices actors of before were the best. Pongo's french voice actor had a very long list of the Disney characters he voiced 😢 I saw an interview of him ans he says he was aked to use his real voice for Pongo

Fun fact: Anita (Roger’s girl) her main animator who design and animate her was Milt Kahn one of the best Disney animators, he based her of a stage actress Julia Andrews who was latter casted by Walt Disney to play Walt Disney.

The actor who voiced Pongo was Rod Taylor from the Alfred Hitchcock 1963 film The Birds. The actor who voiced Roger was Ben Wright who voiced Grimsby in the 1989 film The Little Mermaid.

Little observation. Earlier, when Pongo was watching out the window for prospects, we saw Prissy the afghan and her owner walking towards the park. Then we saw the pug and her owner walking away from it. And yet, somehow, that's where both pairs ended up.
