In this clip, Jody Breeze started off speaking about Trick Daddy never being an official member of Boyz n Da Hood, and Jody revealed that Trick and Block didn’t have the best relationship. Jody then added that Trick Daddy was the first artist to take him under his wing, and he revealed that Trick Daddy warned him about people who were hating on him. Jody then spoke about being a fan of Trick Daddy, calling him one of the hardest artists of all time. Moving along, Shawn Prez spoke about the official Boyz n Da Hood members, including Gorilla Zo replacing Jeezy after he blew up. Jody Breeze then spoke about the BMF crew being Boyz n Da Hood, and Jody also addressed his beef with Jeezy, stating that Jeezy lies. Jody clarified that there wasn’t “tension,” but he stated that Jeezy was “player hating.” When asked if he’s good with Jeezy today, Jody stated that they’re not going to kick it, but he clarified that he doesn’t have anything against Jeezy.

Jody says he doesn’t like rapping and only does it for the money. It really shows. He used to put his heart into it in the 00s and had great mixtapes, better than a lot of rappers’ albums, but his music feels phoned in since No More Secrets. Can’t say I blame him, I’d feel frustrated doing years of promo for an album that never came out, then seeing label mates like Ciara and Jeezy and Keri Hilson blow up.

Damn Jody still hatin Jeezy after all these years just doesn’t look good and probably stunted his growth. Jody was fire when he came out and had potential to become better than Jeezy as far as rapping skills went back then but I think jeezy becoming as big as he did made Jody feel a way because in his mind he was the hottest thing smoking but the world didn’t see it that way. I think egos got in the way and Jody couldn’t humbly accept the reality of why he didn’t blow as big.
