Now MLB starting pitchers go through a rotation in order to give their arms well needed rest and repair so that they can perform at their optimal level both psychological and physical. I am not saying NFL qbs need to go through a rotation, but at the very least they need some sort of a break from the constant action of practice and gameday routine. @@matta6395 100%! Say what you want about Rex with the boasting and the feet and the whole deal, but the Jets actually had an identity during his time here. They've never had that before or since. Maybe he can improve on his handling of the offense being out of the game for a while. the Jets are never going to attract someone with prior quality HC experience, so it's either they catch lightning in a bottle with an unknown (unlikely) or they go back to someone who's had some success and actually WANTS to be here. That last part is very valuable because the Jet job is the worst job in the NFL, by far. You come in here and you've got a closet, basement, garage, attic and guest house full of demons to contend with.

Get Big Ben out of retirement, too. Like Belichick, not a champ without a great qb.
