Don't overlook the rest of the band. Everyone on that stage is highly accomplished in their own right -- Mahalia Barnes, Jade MacRae and Juanita Tippins on backing vocals. Anton Fig on drums. Reese Wynans on keyboards. Michael Rhodes on bass. Kirk Fletcher on rhythm guitar. Lee Thornburg on trumpet. Paulie Cerra and Ron Dzuibla on sax. They're all brilliant.

You are so correct and some people don't realize they are witnessing the best of best on all instruments. To see them live is an experience of a lifetime. Joes soft sweet smokey vocals are overlooked at times.

My husband and I have seen Joe live twice, and we have tickets to see him live again next month. He is excellent and worth every penny. 😎

His backup singers are from your country, Juanita Tippins, Jade MacRae and Mahalia Barns daughter of Jimmy Barns. His Keyboardist is Reese Wynans he was with Stevie Ray Vaughan.

You are 100% correct , that is Mahalia Barnes , I was at that show front centre, this is Joe at his most agressive ever , and I've been to 118 JB shows Try "Blues Deluxe" from Rockpalast 😎

One of my favorite JB performances! He sure does play that Gibson Flying V! I will be seeing him for the third time on 11/1 in Springfield MO. He's amazing live!

Joe and Beth Hart, "I'll take care of you" and "I'd rather be a blind girl" are two awesome songs with Joe at his best and Beth Hart's an awesome singer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️ Have you listened to him on acoustic guitar? His Live at Carnegie Hall is all acoustic. 2 great songs from that concert-Woke up Dreaming with Tina Guo on cello (epic battle), and Drive.

From this same show... Hummingbird. Another winner. I think I own most of Joe's albums, and I can listen to him all day long and not tire of it. You should check out some of the other projects he's involved with; "Black Country Communion" (Jason Bonham on drums) gives Joe more of a rock workout and "Rock Candy Funk Party" gives him some time to play some jazz. The guy is so versatile and is great no matter the style he's playing.

That is Reece on keyboards ( SRV) keyboardist. He paid 750,000 dollars for that beautiful guitar it was Albert Kings

Yeah, I believe that was Albert King's original guitar. It was stolen at some point and he had one made for himself (the original was obviously later recovered). Joe plays that one in this same show on the song "I'll Play the Blues for You". I think that one is owned by Steven Segal (the actor), who lent it to Joe. It has Albert's name on the fretboard and the knobs and pickguard are backward, as Albert King played left-handed. It also has the guitar's name on it... "Lucy".

Joe has a lot of guitars. This Flying V belonged to the great Albert King who was a left handed player and Joe plays it right handed. And he turned the whole instrument upside down. Or something like that. But this sounds great, and kudo's to the band! Saw him in the Netherlands 2017. Great show!

But never can not listen over and over...omg this one is amazing....would you also.please lookout Reese Wynans and play some off his new album...he is amazing keyboard player behind Joe that doesn't get enough credit...SRV had his talent first...so that speaks volumes. And keep upon Teddy Swims please. And a guy named Taming " indigo nights or anything he sings. Less Dimash please

I would really like your reaction to the voice of Steve Marriott who inspired Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Kevin DuBrow (Quiet Riot), Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes) and many others. First in the band Small Faces songs include All or Nothing, Tin Soldier, You Need Loving (this was before Zep's Whole Lotta Love). Then in the band Humble Pie the cover of the Yardbirds For Your Love in 1970 the original unplugged. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZyfnLFjscuViYk.html Humble Pie's catalog of great original works and phenomenal covers is too extensive to list. Whatever Steve chose to do, he did it better than all the rest IMHO. Whether you listen to him in the above bands or his later bands, solo works or various collaborations you will never hear a poor vocal performance.
