Joe continues to carry the mantel of blues greatness as his predecessors. He also brings out his own signature sound and style through the early 21st century while maintaining the beautiful timelessness in his work and songs obviously as a guitarist and now as a vocalist. The best!

I thank God for the day I was stuck on the I-10 just 20 miles west of the Louisiana line and we were stuck, didn't move even a yard due to a huge accident. So to pass the time I would write down the names of artists that I had never heard before but whom I really liked. Then when I got home I looked them all up. Hence the birth of ARIELLYN'S PLAYLISTS which You Tube so NICELY DELETED BECAUSE THEY'RE CORPORATE MEGA-GIANTS ALREADY BUT THEY JUST want it all. But I had like 30++ names of artists and songs when I finally got home like 6 days later. BONANZA!!!!!

one of my favorites. i saw joe in fort wayne indiana a couple years ago. my best first concert EVER!!! I was close enough to touch the stage my wife surprised the heck out of me getting me tickets!! She called me at work. i told her dont play with my emotions! I thought she was joking! So glad to have seen one of the best musicians EVER!!
