I actually have been front row multiple times at his concerts and was down with the flu and missed Red Rocks concert this came from, I caught him in Santa Barbara and heard this song it is reacted to correctly in this young man’s page. I personally found the over 5 minute solo in Mountain Time his encore, at this concert song #13, the absolute best he’s ever done Mountain Time, even better than RAH in London. I guess it’s because how he used 4 different techniques and styles of lead in the song. I’ve been front row for Mountain Time 3 times since I found Joe while searching for a certain style acoustic Yamaha. Joe is where he wants to be and it seems to me as happy never having a #1 single if it involved him not being able to make his songs as long as they take to get you through the journey he wants to take you on. I for one, admire Joe for all he does to stay true to what he knows the fans want, his amazing talent showcased with leads that make you laugh cry and shake your head thinking all the while I don’t play that guitar anywhere as technically perfect and I have 20 years playing on the kid. He’s a gift to mankind, BB King saw it, and so do I.

On point about his touch he wisely chooses what fits a song best. What’s amazing about Joe is seeing him 7 times I’ve seen but “not” heard him break a string on stage 3 times, which i rarely achieved on stage when I gigged. You appreciate Joe very well I respect your opinion.
