Brother you don’t mourn alone. My mom passed December 2019 and I continue to grieve. Perhaps listening to “The Blues” doesn’t help. Joe is an awesome talent. His music is therapy for me. Most time when I listen I cry, but I’m not sad. In fact I’m grateful for my life’s experiences and those that have influenced me. Joe B is good medicine.

Hey Leonfox. Lost both my parents as well. Not that it matters. I am glad you have found some other music in your your journey. I am a metal-head as well , but found the blues in the 90`s when grunge came around. It`s healthy to explore other genres. I truly hope that your loss is weakining when years pass by. A good old fashioned hug comes your way from Norway. Stay positive brother :)

Was with my brother in Durham 2 years ago in February. This is my brother's favorite Bonamassa song. I was so glad he played this. I'm a dancer. Taught dance my whole life. Almost 50 yrs. My brother who has not one ounce of rhythm in his whole body just started moving when Joe played this. It was so amazing. It made his whole night. Rejoice in the fact that you found the incredible musical talent that is Joe Bonomassa. Go see him in concert. Take a friend with you, perhaps someone who has never heard of Joe. When it comes to music or the arts, there’s never just one “greatest “, it’s too subjective. It’s all about what we like, what speaks to us, what we can relate to. I’m a HUGE fan of JB. I love that I can listen to his music over and over and not tire of it. We had the pleasure of seeing him live a few years ago, took our son (25 years old at the time). He comment after was ‘He didn’t play anything I didn’t like’. That’s a great compliment.

Joe Bonamassa you’re the greatest just started listening to you four months ago. You brought me back from the dead. Had a bad month of medication and went to easy way and pointed a gun to my head and pulled the trigger on pistol I forgot to put furring pin bsck in. Where there on purpose or accident it save my life. It was just about the time you played in Omaha and I miss your concert. So I turned you and KZfaq . I listen to his set of yours.. And decided it was a wrong way out. So thank you very much I will continue to listen to music the rest my life so play on. Knowing your music has made a difference
