Joe Buddens... THANK YOU for making this song I lost my mother about 5 years ago, I was locked up and she had a heart attack at one if the visits and died! That last verse was built for me to hear, I lived my life selfishly and the most prideful thing that I had, and always took fir granted that shes always be there was taken from me. Please anyone reading this, if you are lucky enough to still have your mother or who ever is your rock in life that has always held you down, take the time to tell them that you appreciate them and give them a hug, for me I donf have that luxury anymore but have since changed my lifestyle, but look what it cost me to finally wake up! Dont deny yourself the sweetest beautiful things in this free world!

Your music has helped save my life. It's more than just lyrics to me. It's the fact that there is someone out there to admit that depression, relationship problems, addiction, suicidal thoughts and self-destruction are all real. This song is up there with "Only Human"...Keep doing God's work through your struggle
@triplestagedarkness26198 жыл бұрын
Indeed but is this music uplifting? Or is it does adding to the depression....
@rooey4178 жыл бұрын
nobody knows how to paint the full picture, of real life like Joe. he puts his heart on the line in nearly every song. without fear of criticism. the pain of depression, bipolar, anxiety, and all the thing that come with it, on display for the world to see. not only to see but he can make you feel it. I don't see how this man doesn't get way more respect, in this simple minded era of music.
