Was too many answers based on they didn't come out this year or someone else came out more recently. Why not make a list called best albums or verses this month/week if that's gonna be the argument. Nas vs jayz in first round is dumb. Jayz came out more recently with God did and I'm fine if you think he's better than Nas, but to have Nas eliminated in opening bracket and still have to listen to talk about other artists like they are better than him right now is bonkers.

Nas's last 3 albums are being a bit overrated because, well, it's Nas lol. KD2 was aiiiight. The Kanye album and Lost tapes 2 were both weak as well. KD1 & Magic were both dope tho. Jay dropping a couple of verses and putting the game in a frenzy speaks volumes about who has more impact. If we're talking 'best' impact matters. I don't think Joe was completely out of pocket on that. I see both sides tho.

@@TshoCa KD was NOT better than 4:44 lol. Stop it. 'The Story of Oj' ALONE had more impact than that entire album. The Kanye album was weak and the Lost Tapes 2 was garbage and I LOVE Nas. Jay's raps on 4:44, that Jay Elec joint and his features these last few years are just at a higher level than Nas's joints. Back in the day, Nas was WAY sharper lyrically and it was debatable then. Not anymore.

Im with Joe on Biggie having a* in the top 10, it made sense when hip hop was 20 years old but its unfair because most of the list has had longevity and longevity also means a higher chance to falter (ie eminem) or to fall off completely which would affect your overall ranking (Not saying BIG would have faltered necessarily)
