Bugner a boxing legend, he had 83 fights only lossed 13 and 1 draw, he was British European and commonwealth champion and he was australian champions and won a world title at the age of 48 in one round against bonecrusher smith. He knocked out 41 opponents and was never knocked out himself, although he had been stopped on occasion. He boxed from 17 years of age till he was 49. Legend.

I've always liked Bugner. A nice guy, an underrated and unappreciated fighter and the only boxer to go the distance with both Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.

God bless bugner, not in best of health today. He fought some real legends.

@Joe-ry2xq He sadly was never embraced by the British public mainly because of the shocking decision he was awarded by Harry Gibb against Henry Cooper. Cooper was the darling of British Boxing at the time so it didn't go down well. Cooper clearly won the fight in my view. Bugner though was a very underrated fighter. He wasn't offensive enough for most experts. He fought and went the distance with the best around at the time.. He could take a good shot and he had the size and weight to hold his own.. He just didn't seem to produce the determination needed to win. I can think of only two fights were he seemed to get angry.. The Richard Dunn fight and the Winston Allen fight I have on my channel.
