Yes, Solly, teams can afford a 50 million dollar QB, 30 million for a numero uno wide-out, and 20 million for the 2nd wide-out! Especially, since the Bengals have comparably a lot of cap space, etc., etc., etc. The point is they've got the money! It's their priorities I worry about! Hope the Bengals' front office hears the stat you gave: 80% of the time Tee either got a first down or a touch down! I didn't know that stat! Wow! On top of that, when Ja'Marr was injured Tee filled in beautifully. The team never missed a beat. Consummate professional, that's Tee! What Tee's mom said about Tee's contract caught my attention: All in God's good time! I don't know why but her comment hit a nerve with me. Interesting also that Bucky, a sport analyst, said Burrow needs both WRs to win! To be honest, their model of two top receivers other team envy or try to imitate! No denying there's more versatility and a lot of different play schemes possible with Tee playing opposite Ja'Marr. Double Wow! Double trouble! I'm over the moon about Jermaine's selection. I was literally jumping up and down on my couch when TJ Housh made the announcement on TV. This player can run routs, angles, can play in the slot and catch the long, vertical pass. Jermaine attacks that football and has incredible strong hands. I love this player and looking for immediate impact from him! To boot, Jermaine is a student of the came and if desire counts for anything, this guy has it galore. I keep seeing the added value and excitement Jermaine Burton brings to Cincinnati. Great discussion ... keep the drumbeat rolling for my man, Tee!

The AFC North is the top division in football and it’s not even close. 3 of the top 5 Edge rushers in the NFL live right here in the North. One in Pittsburg, one in Cleveland and 1 in Cincinnati. Watt, Garrett, and Hendrickson. If you play offensive tackle in the AFC North a d you are a Pro Bowl/All Pro then you are defiantly one of the best in the game.

I don’t think the lose of DJ Reader is going to be that bad. A lot of people in the North don’t know Sheldon Rankins. Long before I was a Bengals fan I am also a Saints fan. Born and raised in Louisiana. And I remember when we drafted Rankins at number 12. The dude is good. Real good. He had 8 sacks one year for the Saints and I think he will replicate that production here. But another thing about him that most people don’t know is that he is dam good against the run too. When he was first drafted that’s what he was known as a run stopping 3 tech. The guy is the ideal size for a 3 tech. He is 6’1’’ 305. Geno Atkins is 6’1’’ 300. I prefer the shorter DTs because they can get under the pass of all these tall ass offensive linemen they have now. That’s one reason the Ravens center Linderbaum is so good. He is only 6’2’’ and it’s very difficult to get under his pads. 95% of the time he gets under the defensive tackles pads.

They can keep all 3. It’s up to T to take less than Jamar and take that number 2 money. His agent ( understandably so) is going for number 1 money which is the hold up Iam sure

Everybody keeps using Miami as an example because they paid waddle, but Tyreek is up for an other contract soon and they haven’t even paid Tua… on that note I wish we could keep tee and chase but that is too much of the pie and you will see that with these teams like the Eagles. They are going to be hurting at other positions when they can’t afford a good left tackle.

Joe Burrow is the 2nd best QB in the league right now period full stop. After this year though it will be debatable as to who the best is though. Burrow is going to start pushing Mahomes.

We will see Jamar Chase taking more snaps from the slot this year too. And don’t count out Andrei Iosivas either. Next year when Tee Higgins is gone I expect him to move into that 3 role behind Chase and Burton. Charlie Jones is going to be a good WR too but I think the role he will really shine in is as a return specialist. The kid is good at that. He is explosive he is smart he went to freaking Purdue. On his 3rd punt return as a pro he ran it 82 yards for a td!

Burrow makes 55 not 50 and Chase will get at least 35 not 32. That’s 8 million MORE that the Bengals will be paying over the Eagles.

Joe Burrow can be Joe Burrow no matter who is catching the passes. All he needs it’s competent WR play. Chase doesn’t have to worry the Bengals are going to break the bank for him and he and Burrow are best friends. They are In this for the long haul. It would not be smart to pay Tee Higgins 25+ mil a year. It wouldn’t so we aren’t. He will get a nice fat contract somewhere else. Somewhere were he can be the number 1. Tee deserves that. He will never be the 1 here. I would pay Chase and develop these young guys and the TEs. I might bring Gesicki back for another year after this one.

Because you have to pay someone else on defense

Miami hasn’t done shit yet. They just payed Waddle and now Hill expects a new contract for OVER 30 mil a year. He won’t show up until till that make it so or trade him. And Dolphins can pay all The WR’s they want to. They haven’t payed a QB yet! And if They are smart they will not pay Tua. I would let him play his deal Out and tag him if need be or let him walk.

The Ravens definitely got weaker this offseason. They lost their DC. They lost an All Pro MLB in Patrick Queen and they lost Geno Stone who outplayed Marcus Williams last year. If the Ravens had been smart they should have cut Williams and signed Stone! Marcus Williams is a FS making 14 mil a year and last year 7th round pick Geno Stone outplayed him.

You are referring to the Eagles. Hurts makes 50 mil Brown makes 32 mil and Smith makes 28 mil. Just because you can do that doesn’t mean you should. The Eagles had to add all kinds of void heads o to Those contracts. That can come back to bite you. I love Tee Higgins but if Germaine Burton is who I think he is then you can replace Tees production with a more explosive athlete on a 3rd round rookie contract for the next 4 years. After this year there is 3 years of 3rd rounder pay or Ter for 25-28 mil. That’s a no brainer. Because next year we can have Tee Higgins Or Trey Hendrickson not both. I choose Trey.

Joe Burrow had 219 mil guaranteed. That’s the 2nd most guaranteed money all time. The only one with more guaranteeed money is Deshaun Watson and that monstrosity of a contract. That guy should be in jail not playing football.

So is Tre Higgins. Never underestimate that. Mike Hilton is great no matter if it’s a contract year or not. How Alex Cappa plays this year will determine if they extend him next year. He is under contract right now for 2 more seasons.
